Hello I called back today was told that my contract was bought out, and I would only b e receiving

a $120 dollar check. According to the buyout clause of the warranty: "BUYOUT. We may elect, at Our option, to buyout the Contract during the coverage term for the lesser of (I) current market value of a Product with equivalent sp ecifications or (II) purchase price of Your Product minus sales tax and claims p aid. When determining the current market value of a Product of equivalent specif ications a fair analysis is completed using current manufacturers and distributors cing on comparable products. All contractual obligations are considered fulfille d upon buyout of the Product. You have up to forty-five (45) days from the date of authorization to complete your product buyout transaction. If We buyout the c ontract, the covered product becomes property of Service Net and We may, at Our discretion, require the product to be returned to Us (or our designee) at Our ex pense." I bolded the section to be addressed. The former repairs should not be counted a s claims seeing as the unit was returned nonfunctional so the claims were never truly addressed. The claims, therefore, should not affect the buyout clause and the full market value of the computer should be owed. Additionally, in my contract, there is a no lemon clause that states: "NO LEMON GUARANTEE. During the term of this Contract, when three service repair s, with three separate claim numbers, have been completed on the same part, and that same part requires repair under a fourth claim number, as determined by Us, Your Product will be replaced with a Product of like grade and quality by Us, n ot to exceed the original retail purchase price. In the event a comparable repla cement cannot be located, a buyout, not to exceed the original retail purchase p rice, will be provided." I have sent in the product three times for repairs, and each time the computer r eturned nonfunctional. I would send it a fourth since it still does not work but I will not be receiving it back because Service Net did not find the necessary part. Service Net has failed to repair the computer every time that it has been sent in. I should not have to cover the costs of a new computer because Service Net has miserably failed at doing it's job. According to the Better Business Bureau, Service Net has already had 139 complai nts in regards to Guarantee/Warranty issues. The 140th complaint will be filed i f this issue is not satisfactorily resolved. Respond as soon as possible with a reevaluation of the claim.
