Editorial
In this issue, Mrs. Tipton-King talks about the important ways to keep and stay warm and dry during the snow camp out. If you are going to the snow camp, you should take her advice at heart. Mrs. Tipton-King is also a regular writer to the newsletter. She contributes immensely to the success of this newsletter. Another great contributor is a writer by the pan name AK II. He continues on the column of Lord of The Ring and Star War saga. He finds stories about the book or the movies that one might not know. If you are a Lord of the Ring or Star War fan, you should really enjoy his column. Also new in this issue, we try a new technique to improve the quality of printing black and white pictures. Some of the darker pictures are digitally altered to get more brightness and contrast to show up better in the print. Hopefully this new approach would provide better pictures in print. We also have Mrs. Tipton-King, Mr. Mitscha, and Mr. Howard contributing their pictures to Candid Camera and Photo Album. We are blessed to have good

pictures. We are very grateful to their efforts. As the year and season come to an end, we would like to wish Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to every scout and adult in this troop. We now proudly present our famous Troop 103 Charlie Brown Choir (on paper only) to sing Christmas Carol to all of you

We wish you a Merry Christmas.

The Zen of diving

This is an earlier prototype of the modern GPS system. It found out the coordinates of the enemy aircraft based on triangulation from three ground based radar. Do you believe that? Just kidding.

Introduction
Welcome! This time I have significantly changed the format of my column. In this edition of the newsletter, I have added in a table and article containing the details of Order 66 in Star Wars: Episode III. For those of you who have seen the movie, this should be a helpful guide on the Jedi, who were slain when Order 66 was put into effect, by Darth Sidious, aka Supreme Chancellor Palpatine. I have also included a quiz on JRR Tolkein and some details of his life and books. I hope that you will enjoy the following sections of my column. - AK II

Execute Order 66
These were the fated words spoken by Supreme Chancellor Palpatine. These were the words, which destroyed the Jedi, protectors of the galaxy, in one swift move. Not many people who saw the Star Wars would pay attention to all of the effects of this order authorizing the killing of the Jedi knights. They would only know that 2 Jedi knights escaped, Obi-wan Kenobi and Yoda. But, there were other scenes, some of which the Jedi they portrayed, were unrecognizable. But, I have managed to gather a small amount of data on the destruction of the Jedi. These are the known Jedi info on the list of Order 66.
