3. Examinees are not allowed to bring their vehicles inside the campus or park within the campus. 4. Examinees assigned to take the examination at St. Martin de Porres Building (Medicine Building) and St. Raymonds Building (AB/Commerce Building) may enter the campus only through Gates 2 or 3 along Espaa Boulevard. Examinees assigned to take the examination at the Benavides Building (Pay High School Building) and the Main Building may enter the campus only through Gate 4, also along Espaa Boulevard. 5. Upon entering the gate, be ready with your Notice of Admission and colorcoded Identification Card. Wear the ID around your neck to expedite entry. 6. Submit yourself for inspection and deposit all electronic gadgets to the security personnel assigned at the entrance. 7. Proceed to your room assignment. Do not loiter. 8. Present the Notice of Admission to the head watcher. You may attend to your personal needs before the FIRST BELL (15 minutes before the exam begins), but be sure to be in the examination room at the sound of the FIRST BELL. 9. At the sound of the FIRST BELL, all books and notes should also be placed in front of the room. An examinee will be considered cheating if caught with notes or codigos during the examination. 10. Begin answering only at the sound of the SECOND BELL (start of the exam). Anyone caught answering before the SECOND BELL will be dealt with accordingly. Instructions for the Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) Exam: 1. Write your name, signature and Bar Examinee (B.E.) number on the MCQ ANSWER SHEET using a sign pen or fountain pen, BUT remember to shade the numbers corresponding to your B.E. number using only a No. 2 pencil. The scanning machine cannot read the numbers if they have not been shaded properly using a No. 2 pencil. Also, shading the wrong numbers may result in your scores not being credited to you. So please take care to shade the correct numbers. If your B.E. number is only three numbers, say 984, you need to write it as 0984 and shade also the circle for the number 0. Study the attached sample MCQ ANSWER SHEET (ANNEX B) and familiarize yourself with it. 2. Make sure the answer sheet you have is for the correct exam, i.e., Mercantile Law answer sheet for the Mercantile Law exam, Criminal Law answer sheet for the Criminal Law exam, etc. 3. Before the SECOND BELL, and with the questionnaire facing down, check if your questionnaire has the complete number of pages. 4. Begin answering only at the sound of the SECOND BELL. Indicate your answer by shading the appropriate circle corresponding to the letter you have chosen. REMEMBER to shade the circle completely and use only a No. 2 pencil in shading the MCQ answer sheet. Answers that are incorrectly shaded or shaded using a sign pen or fountain pen cannot be scanned by the scanning machine and will not be credited.

5. Avoid erasures on the answer sheet. But if you must make corrections, erase completely any answer you may wish to change. See ANNEX B for Marking Instructions. 6. When answering, see to it that the answer you are shading in the answer sheet pertains to the correct question number; otherwise, you might end up shading answers for the wrong numbers for the rest of the examination. 7. Do not shade more than one answer per number; a number with two or more answers will automatically be marked wrong. 8. Do not explain your answers in the MCQ portion of the exam; you will not earn any credit for that. 9. Keep the answer sheet clean. Do not make any unnecessary marks on it. Do not fold, roll, scratch, crumple or tear it. 10. You may write on the questionnaire and use it as scratch paper but make sure to transfer your answer to the answer sheet. Provide ample time to transfer the answers if you choose to do this. 11. Budget your time accordingly. For the major subjects, you will have 4 hours to answer around 100 MCQs and 10 essay questions. For the minor subjects, except legal ethics, you will have 3 hours to answer around 75 MCQs and 10 essay questions. The last exam (legal ethics and practical exercises) will consist of MCQs and the trial memorandum writing test. It will last for 3 hours.

Essay Exam Reminders: 1. Only sign pens and fountain pens in permanent blue, blue-black or black ink should be used in writing your answers to the essay questions. Variation in the color of ink and the style of your handwriting should be avoided. 2. Once you receive your notebook (after the FIRST BELL), check that you have an Essay Grading Sheet attached to your notebook. Study the sample essay grading sheet attached here as Annex C and familiarize yourself with it. 3. The grading sheet has a detachable/perforated portion for your name and signature. Write your name and signature in the appropriate space using a sign pen or fountain pen. Also, using a sign pen or fountain pen, write your B.E. number in the boxes provided. Then, using a No. 2 pencil, shade the corresponding numbers below your B.E. number. Remember to use only a No. 2 pencil in shading the numbers corresponding to your B.E. number. If you shade using a pen, the scanning machine will not be able to read the numbers and your scores will not be credited to you. 4. Do not mark or write on the examiners' grading portion. 5. Write your answers legibly and avoid erasures. But if you make a mistake and wish to erase anything, simply draw a line across the word or words you want to change or erase. 6. You may write on the questionnaire or use it as scratch paper. 7. Write your answers on one side of the paper only on the face and not on the back page.

8. 9.
