The TEDxLaceMarket Theme


Throughout 2011 and in to 2012, we have been following people globally calling for new economic models and political systems. Might it also be that we need to recalibrate the way we live? We put the rarely questioned under the microscope; either to challenge or to conrm it. We call it the greater-than-or-equal-to-2 (2) question. This TEDx will be an exposure to concepts and analysis on the topic of families and human coexistence, as well as an opportunity to be introduced to different living propositions, structures, stories, media, types, and ways with which people get along, get educated, do business, do art, do sports, take decisions, communicate and collaborate together.

WHAT IS TEDX?
Similar to TED.com, at the heart of a TEDx event is the TEDTalk.
In 18 minutes or less, TEDx Speakers share an idea and experience of theirs around our theme that can potentially change the world and how we live, an idea to educate, or to inspire.These Talks are then recorded, edited, uploaded to the TED website, and shared with the world via the internet.

Choosing to be a TEDxLaceMarket Partner


Partnerships Opportunities *
1. General Partner - 0 Contribution: Individual pledge (ie. Marketing or PR), providing resources (conference set, furniture, printing) Hash Tag and Social Media monitoring. Perk: added as team member to TEDx page as an amplier (to comply with the rules and guidelines TEDx provides direct promotion of brands supporting our event is not permitted. We can engage a personal twitter presence in out progress dialogue as part of the organising team) 2. TEDxLM Supporters - 100 Contribution & Perk: Providing branded promotional items for the audience engagement pack. (ie. Pens, Paper, Folders, Canvas bag, etc) 3. Venue Partners - 400 Contribution: Direct payment towards the venue and hospitality throughout the TEDxLaceMarket event. Perk: You will be identied as a venue partner in the event media including the website with your logo* being displayed to the audience. (This option is tailored towards local businesses operating B2C retail stores, bars, service providers etc) 4. Media Partners - 750 Contribution: Direct payment towards the conference production throughout the TEDxLaceMarket event. (ie. set design & construction, technical support of light and sound, pre & post production of media, live streaming & documentation during the event itself) Perk: You will be identied as a media partner in the event media including the website with your logo* being displayed to the audience and included in the post-production edits submitted to the TEDx archive. (This option is tailored towards businesses operating nationally or internationally B2B, event and media service providers etc) 5. Speaker Champions - 200 - 1000 Contribution & Perk: Speakers accept no fee when presenting at TEDx events. Travel & Accommodation is provided for them along with minimal expenses. You will be associated with the speaker you champion and they will be introduced to you. You will also be invited to the VIP lunch for speakers and organisers during the event. * In accordance to TEDx guidelines
