Place resistance
network at the center
Solder only one pin on each
network
Turn the pcb upside
down and ...
If necessary straighten up
the networks, its easier
with only one pin soldered
Its now ok to turn again
the pcb and solder the
other pins
Bend one
resistor pin
(dont matter
which one),
well put it
vertically
Place it, turn the pcb upside
down and solder it
Check the kit contents :
A - Printed circuit board
B - 4 independant resistances network 150 Ohms
(x4)
C - IC Bus header (type HE10 2x5)
D - Led
E - Resistor 150 Ohms
F - Capacitor 100nF
G - Input/Output header (type HE10 2x10)
you can put it
in etheir way
Do the same way for
the other two network
When soldered, cut
the pins just above the
solder joint

Bend the led legs to keep
it from falling down, turn
the pcb to solder and when
soldered, cut the pins just
above the solder joint
Put it in place, it is
symmetrical so can go in
either way in its place
Led is not
symmetric, long
pin is + (positive)
and short is -
(negative)
Insert the led in its location,
long pin is indicated with +
on the silkscreen
Tear out the 100nF
capacitor
Check again headers are well
positionned as shown
Turn the pcb upside down on a at surface
and solder it
Turn the pcb upside down
and solder it
Put HE10 headers in place, header has
a notch in it, make sure it matches up
with the silkscreen, as shown

Now well dene the board address using
solder jumpers
Putting enough
solder to bridge
the jumpers, we
set AD0, AD1
and AD2 levels,
this combination
will dene the
board address
(see map below)
If we want to change the
board address, we can
remove the brige using
solder sucking wick
On the board, AD2, AD1 and AD0 signals are columns arranged,
The affectable values SCL, SDA, 3V3 (=V+) et GND are in 4 lines.
In example (see map) we set the board address to 11 (hexadecimal).
connect AD2 to GND (bridge where column AD2 and GND line are crossing)
connect AD1 to SCL (bridge where column AD1 and SCL line are crossing)
connect AD0 to V+ (bridge where column AD0 and 3V3 line are crossing)
11 GND SCL v+

Adresse HEX :
hexadecimal board address
set with the 3 solder
jumpers.
SDA : Serial data
SCL : Serial clock
V+ : 3V3 = 3,3V
GND : Ground
AD0, AD1, AD2 : board
addressing signals
