Mutt Sri Balaji Mandir, Pune Dear all Bhagavathas the II Residential camp at Sri Ahobila Mutts Balaji Mandir was held successfully on a grand scale from 20-5-12 to 26-5-12. About 6 students from Hyderabad and 14 Students from Pune have taken part in this spiritual camp. Students from class I to Engineering final year have taken part in this camp. The divine blessings of Srimad Azhagiyashingars have made the camp a resounding success. Students were taught simple Swami Dhesikan Stotrams like Kamasikashtakam, Sudharshanashtakam Nyaasadhasakam etc. Each student was monitored by the 6 student-gurus who came from Hyderabad . Bhajans, Skits, Vaalmeeki -Raamaayanam story recitation, Azhwar Charitam, Dhesika Charitam, simple yoga asanas and spiritual games were also taught to children. Sri U.Ve.E.S.Mukundan Swamin has taken a special care on students emphasizing the importance of our culture, and on the importance of having prasadam. Sri U.Ve.Ramaswamy Swamy, (retired Archaka Swamin- Sri Ahobila Mutt Tirupathi) taught basic Sanskrit and the importance of satsang to the Students. The other speciality of the camp was the Sanskrit classes taken by Smt Aaradhana Tiwary. Students were taught short stories, poems in Sanskrit which they had to recite back. Students were immensely benefitted by these classes. The military punctuality with which the Archakas and the paricharakas of the temple performed Kainkaryams to the Lord immensely beneficial to our children who could attend suphrabhatam, prasada ghostee in the morning and evening. Credit shall be given to Sri U.Ve.Mukkur Srinivasachariar Swamy, the old person with a young heart, and his team of archakas Sri Maalolan and Chi Srikanth. Sri U.Ve.E.S.Mukundan Swamin taught Swami Dhesika Stotrams to around 15 people who lived in and around Pune.Children were trained to perform a skit on MeeraBhai on the final day by Kum Madhumathi and chi Lakshmi Narasimhan. The Skit, which was widely appreciated, was performed before the parents on the final day of the camp. We were very lucky to visit Sri Balaji Temple, Narayanpur. Infact we were present for the Abhishekam where the Lord showed us his beautiful Thirumeni. We are all thankful to the secretary Sri Ranganathan who stressed on some techniques on how the camp can be conducted interestingly .I would also like to express my gratitude to the joint secretary Sri U.Ve.Varadrajan,who, was constantly in touch with Sri Mukundan Swamy right from booking of our tickets of Hyderabad-Pune to booking after the basic amenities required for the children every day inspite of the busy office and residential schedule. Sometimes he came directly from the office and stayed in the temple up to 1pm or so, in order to fulfill the camp and temple requirements. We also thank the manager Sri Ramesh for enquiring our requirements regularly and fulfilling them. Sri Rangachary took pains to arrange drinking water, stationary for children etc. Delicious Prasadam was served by Sri Kannan swami, Sri Rangamani Swami to the children daily. His love towards children was clearly shown through the dishes he prepared. Our humble pranams to Sri U.Ve.Saranathan Swami, Chairman of Pune Ahobila Mutt who used remote control to track all the events in the temple. Prizes and certificates were given away by Sri Ranganathan. Every child recited the Stotrams which he/she had learnt throughout the camp. Later Sri U.Ve.Ramaswami Swamin and Sri U.E.S.Mukundan Swamin were felicitated by Sri Ranganathan and the team of Sri Ahobila Mutt Pune. Sri U.Ve.E.S.Mukundan Swamin thanked Srimad Azhagiyashingars for showering blessings on him and encouraging him. All the parents were very happy that their wards learnt many things in the camp.

I had the Bhagyam of uploading the photos and videos of the camp. We have no words to thank Sri U.Ve.Mukundan Swamy who took lot of pains in organizing this camp and thus giving us an opportunity to taste the success through the satsang. We also thank Sri U.Ve.Ramaswamy Swami for giving us Satsang. JAYA JAYA SHREE SUDHARSHANA A.RamaKrishna Vidhatha Btech IV Year Hyderabad, A member of the camp
