Front-end
1. Login with administrator account or staff account (Request from au@landkdesign.net) 2. Click one time on snooker table 3. Select No Package or Package option 4. Click Start button to start the game 5. Click + Add button to purchase item and click List button to check purchased item 6. Click Record button to record each game without checkout 7. Click STOP button to checkout

Back-end
1. Records Panel
If administrator login in Records Panel, he/she can view or edit all sales record. Click Print Daily Records to print all sales record Search sales record by date, batch number, item, item category, time, shifts or staffs. Tick the selected sale record and click Delete Selected button to delete record.

If staff login in Records Panel, he/she can only view their own sales records only. They are not able to edit or delete the sales records. Click Print Daily Records to print their own sales record Search sales record by date, batch number, item, item category, time, shifts or staff.

2. Settings Panel
2.1.

General (General Settings)


Displaying your company logo on receipt Click Browse button to select picture file in your local computer. Click Submit button to upload logo file into server. Remember to click Update button to save this setting. If your logo is not shown on this page, right click your mouse to reload or refresh this page.

Effect:

1.1.2. Setting business start time a. Select your business start time. b. Remember to click Update button to save this setting. Effect: When you select 10:00:00 am (January 1st, 2011) as your business start time, sales from 11:59:59 pm (January 1st, 2011) to 9:59:59 (January 2nd, 2011) are still considered as sales on January 1st, 2011.

a. Key in number only in the textbox. b. Remember to click Update button to save this setting.

1.1.4. Saving customer name in the system a. Click the small box to tick Required Customer Name option. b. Remember to click Update button to save this setting. Effect:

1.1.5. Settings automatically print receipt once checkout a. Click the small box to tick Auto Print When Stop option. b. Remember to click Update button to save this setting. Effect: Pop up printing option once stop button is clicked.

1.1.6. Settings staff login to record staff in charge for each sales a. Click the small box to tick Staff Login option b. Remember to click Update button to save this setting Effect:

1.1.7. Displaying records based on end time or start time of each game a. Select End Time or Start Time option in Show Records by b. Remember to click Update button to save this setting Effect: Customer plays snooker from 11:30:00 pm (January 1st, 2011) to 12:30:00 am (January 2nd, 2011). Checkout time is 12:30:00 am. When user selects End Time option, this games record is assigned as records on 11:30:00 pm (January 1st, 2011). When user selects Start Time option, this games record is assigned as records on 12:30:00 am (January 2nd, 2011).

1.1.8. Displaying your company information in the receipt a. Key in your company information in the textbox for Company Name, Company Address, Company Email and Company Tel No. b. Remember to click Update button to save this setting.

1.1.9. Changing the font size and body size of receipt a. Key in your desired number in textbox of Receipt front size, Receipt total amount font size, Receipt width, Receipt row spacing and Receipt logo width. b. Remember to click Update button to save this setting.

General (Checkout Options)


Setting up the payment types when checkout Key in payment type in name column and position column. Click Add button to add the payment type. Name: Name of payment type Position: key in number 1, 2, 3, etc to position each payment type Payment type with Position 1 will be selected automatically when clicking STOP button in checkout panel.

Rate (Packages Settings)

Setting up countdown timer to turn off lights automatically Key in textbox of Item, Price and Duration as well as select Once or Repeat option Item: Name of the package Price: Total price for the package Duration: Total duration in seconds for the package Once Turn off lights automatically after countdown is finished Repeated After 1st time countdown is finished, it will automatically jump to 2 nd, 3rd, 4th, etc countdown until you click STOP button on checkout panel to turn off lights. g. Remember to click Add button to add the package. Effect:

Sample: Situation 1: 1 hour Stop Package When user selects this option, customer is charged RM 10 for 1 hour (3600 seconds). Our system turns off lights automatically after 3600 seconds. Situation 2: 1 hour Repeat Package When user selects this option, the system does not turn off lights automatically. But it will start a new game after every 3600 seconds Situation 3: 2 hours Stop Package When user selects this option, customer is charged RM 18 for 2 hours (7200 seconds). Our system turns off lights automatically after 7200 seconds.

2.4.

Rate (Default Packages Settings)

2.4.1. Setting up default package selection a. Select package option and key in table number. b. Remember to click Add button to add the default package. Effect: Back-end

Front-end Package 1 hour stop is automatically selected for table 1. Package 1 hour repeat is automatically selected for table 2. Package 2 hours stop is automatically selected for table 3.

2.5.

Rate (Rate Settings)

2.5.1. Setting up free of charge for all tables a. Key in duration (seconds) in textbox of Free of Charge Duration. b. Remember to click Update button to save this setting. Effect: When user put 10 seconds in textbox, the charges for every game start charging after 10 seconds. Recommend to put 0 seconds. 2.5.2. Setting up minimum charge on all tables a. Key in the rate in textbox of Minimum Charge. b. Remember to click Update button to save this setting. Effect: When user put RM 5.00 in textbox, all games with charges less than RM 5.00 will automatically checkout as RM 5.00. Recommend to put 0 seconds. 2.5.3. Setting up fixed rate for all tables a. Key in rate in textbox of Fixed Rate. b. Remember to click Update button to save this setting. Effect: When user put RM 0.05 in textbox, all tables will be charged as RM 0.05/second.

Rate (Special Rate Settings)

a. Key in the rate per second for each period. b. Remember to tick the square box beside the Update button. c. And then, click Update button to save this setting. Effect: (Table 2) 00:00 - 05:00 = RM 1 / second 05:00 - 10:00 = RM 2 / second 10:00 - 15:00 = RM 3 / second 15:00 - 20:00 = RM 4 / second 20:00 - 00:00 = RM 5 / second User start game on 23:30:00 and checkout on 00:30:00. The total game charges = RM 5 x 1800 seconds + RM 1 x 1800 seconds = RM 10,800

Promotion (Promotion Settings) (Not recommend to use)

2.7.1. Setting up free item for package with repeat option only a. Key in Promotion Name and select package with repeat option. b. Then, key in desired number of game rounds which you want to give free item to customers. c. Select the free item and key in number of free item d. Remember to click Create button to create this free item package Sample:

Free 2 cans of 100Plus drink for customer who plays 3 rounds of one hour game.

Promotion (Discount Tier Settings)

2.8.1. Setting up discount option for customers a. b. c. d. e. Fill in discount name, discount percentage and position. Then, click Add button to save this setting. Remember to click Update button to save the changes. Discount (%): Discount percentage on total amount of checkout Position: Position 1,2,3, etc. to arrange sequentially on checkout panel

Item (Add-on Item Settings)

2.9.1. Setting up point of sales terminals for each table and counter a. Tick the square box of Use Inventory System. b. Remember to click update button to save this setting. 2.9.2. a. b. c. d. Adding inventory items Remember to fill in the textbox of Category Then, click Update button to save this settings Fill in Item, Price, Stock and select Category options. Remember to click Update button to save this setting.

2.9.3. Setting up stock recording for each item


a. Tick the square box on the Use stock recording b. Click Update button to save this setting c. Fill in stock amount inside textbox of each item and click Add Stock button

The system automatically deduct the number of remaining stock when items checkout.

2.10. Shifts (Shifts Settings)


1.10.1. Setting up work shifts in order to view sale records according shifts a. Click on the Shifts link in the SETTINGS box on the top navigation. b. Fill in the Name (Shifts Name) and working hours from start time to end time input fields under the shifts settings section. Sample:

1.11. Account (Account Settings for administration to view and edit settings)
1.11.1. Changing administration account password a. Fill in textbox on column one: current password b. Fill in textbox on column two: new password c. Fill in textbox on column three: Retype new password d. Remember to click Update button to save this setting Sample:

1.12.1. Creating a new user/new staff account for user to view sales record only a. Fill in username account, password and user code. b. Click Create button to add new account c. User code: for internal reference only

3. Lights Panel
This lights panel is for administrator to check light functionality on site. Click the desired box to turn on the respective lights
