CHAPTER 1 - Arrogant Fox making fun of others

Once upon a time, there was a big jungle with many animals living happily.

There lived a male fox that was used to make fun of others because he thought he was perfect.

One day, the Male fox and the Female fox were roaming in the jungle.

I am the best. I am best, sang the Male fox.

They saw an ostrich near a lake. See, this Ostrich is so funny - it is a bird but cannot fly, whispered the Male fox in the ears of the Female fox. The Male fox started to make fun of Ostrich. Hi Ostrich, I always wonder why you have wings if you cant fly? Hmm? He He He He !, said the Male fox.

The Ostrich became sad and started to go back.

The Male fox enjoyed making fun of Ostrich and continued roaming in the jungle.

The next day, the Male fox was roaming in the jungle alone.

He saw a frog about to eat an insect.

Hey watch out! A big snake is coming here, said the Male fox looking at the frog.

The Frog got scared, took its tongue inside and hopped to hide nearby. In the meanwhile, the insect which the Frog was supposed to eat escaped.

He He He He! You are such a fool! No snake is here. Oops - so sorry - your lunch just flew away. He He He He! said the Male fox laughing aloud. The Frog became unhappy while hiding behind the stone. The Male fox continued to roam in the jungle.

He saw a monkey sitting on a tree eating banana.

Hello Monkey. Why are you still having the purple color of Holi on your face? Dont you ever take bath?Hmm? said the Male fox. The Monkey became sad and hid his face with hands and started crying.

He He He He. I am the best. I am the best. I am the best. Oh Yeah said the Male fox and continued roaming in the jungle.

He saw a plant full of flowers. Aha! Beautiful flowers! I will take one for my wife, thought the Male fox while walking towards the plant.

He saw a butterfly sitting on a flower sucking the nectar from the flower.

Hello butterfly. Is this a straw stuck to your mouth? Can I help you to remove it. Hmm? said the Male fox looking at butterfly.

Hearing the foxs sarcastic comments, the Butterfly flew away. CHAPTER 2 - Fox calling Ostrich for lunch

The Male fox continued roaming in the jungle. He saw the Ostrich coming towards him.

Hello Ostrich! Here we meet again. I have been thinking of inviting you for lunch. Why dont you come for lunch at my place, today? said the Male fox. Yes sure, Why not. Thanks for the invitation. I will be there said the Ostrich.

The Ostrich came to foxs home. Hello Ostrich! Welcome, welcome. I was waiting for you only. Let us start our lunch. I have made tasty worm soup for you said the Male fox while greeting the Ostrich. Wow! I too love this soup. I am so hungry. I cannot wait any longer said the Ostrich happily.

The fox took the Ostrich inside his home. There is our soup one for you and one for me said the Male fox showing two bowls of soup.

The Male fox went near the bowl and started drinking his share of soup. The Ostrich tried to drink the soup. But he was unable to drink the soup, as the bowl was not deep enough for the Ostrich to put its head inside. This fox just wanted to make fun of me. Ill pretend that I am not hungry though the Ostrich looking at the fox.

Hey! Why are you not drinking? Are you full already? said the Male fox. Yes, the soup was tasty I enjoyed it a lot. I cannot have more, replied Ostrich.

Then let me eat your remaining share. Why to waste it, said the Male fox as he approached the Ostrichs bowl. The Male fox drank the Ostrichs soup too.

Ok I will go home now. Thanks for the lunch. Why dont you also come to my place tomorrow for dinner? I will make yummy insect soup, said the Ostrich. Ok! I will surely come replied the Male fox. The Ostrich went away. I am the best. Thats why others love me thought the Male fox. CHAPTER 3 - Ostrichs reply to fox

They go inside the Ostrichs home. There is our soup - one is for you and other for me said the Ostrich pointing to two jugs.

The Ostrich started drinking soup from his jug.

The fox tried to put his head inside the jug, but could not eat anything as the jug was deep with a narrow opening.

Oh! I am so hungry now and the Ostrich is enjoying his dinner. Its my entire fault. I shouldnt have played the trick on the Ostrich thought the Male fox realizing his mistake.

Oh! My stomach is so full. I feel like taking a nap now said the Ostrich. Sure - I think I should also go now. Bye said the Male fox.

The Male fox started to go back to his home. The Ostrich started dancing with happiness. CHAPTER 4 - Desperate attempt to get food

Suddenly a big snake came out and swallowed the rabbit.

You bad snake - I was so hungry. You have eaten my share said the Male fox in anger.

The Male fox continued to walk slowly. Help! Help! I am fainting. Water, Water said the Male fox.
