The University requires teaching faculties for the Twenty PG academic programmes (Mathematics, Statistics, Biotechnology, Physics, Chemistry, Architecture, Computer Science, Computer Science & Engineering, Environmental Science, Management, Culture and Media Studies, Economics, English, Hindi, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Social Works, Public Policy Law & Governance, Pharmacy and Commerce) for the academic year 2012-13 under various Schools for which the Professors, Associate Professors and Assistant Professors are required. The appointment will be on pu rely temporary basis, for a p eriod not exceeding one y ear or till regular appointments are made, whichever is earlier. The University has launched following Twenty PG academic programmes from the academic year 2012-13 under various Schools for which the Professors, Associates Professors and Assistant Professor are required. The appointment will be on purely temporary basis, for a period not exceeding one year or till regular appointments are made, whichever is earlier.

Qualifications and Experience: Minimum qualification and experience required for the above posts are as prescribed by UGC / AICTE/ COA. NET shall remain the minimum eligibility condition for recruitment and appointment of Assistant Professors.

Please note that the prescribed qualifications for teaching positions are as per UGC Regulations on minimum qualification for appointment of teaching and other academic staff in Universities and C olleges and measures for the maintenance of standards in Higher Education 2010" and the amendments thereto. Eligibility shall be considered as per the revised regulations. You may visit the UGC website: www.ugc.ac.in for more details. Applicants for Assistant Professors possessing a P h.D. Degree and c laiming exemption from requirement of NET are to provide documentary evidence to the effect that the Ph.D. was awarded as per UGC Regulation, 2009. Retired Professors/ Associate Professors can also apply. Age of Superannuation will be in accordance with the rules of Government of India / UGC norms.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS FOR APPOINTMENT OF TEACHING FACULTY IN THE UNIVERSITY- PHARMACY DISCIPLINE:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS FOR APPOINTMENT OF TEACHING FACULTY IN THE UNIVERSITY: ARCHITECTURE DISCIPLINE 1. Professor Essential: Bachelors or Masters Degree in Architecture or related discipline with First Class or equivalent (minimum of 60% in aggregate, if a class or division is not awarded either in Bachelors or Masters Degree) and Ph.D. or equivalent in the discipline (based on publication of five international journal papers, each journal having a cumulative impact index of not less than 2.0, with candidate as the main author). OR (for the Candidates from Industry or profession) 1. First Class (minimum of 60% in aggregate, if a class or division is not awarded) Masters Degree in the appropriate branch of Architecture/Planning/ Engineering / Technology or related discipline 2. Significant professional work which can be recognized as equivalent to a Ph.D. Degree in appropriate branch of Architecture etc. Experience: Minimum of 10 years of teaching/ research/ industrial experience of which at least 5 years should be at the level of Associate Professor. OR Minimum of 13 years experience in teaching and/ or research and/ or Industry OR In case of research experience, good academic record and books/ research paper publications/ IPR/ patents record shall be required as deemed fit by the expert members of the Selection Committee. If the experience in industry is considered the same shall be at managerial level equivalent to Associate Professor with active participation record in devising/ designing, planning, executing, analyzing, quality control, innovating, training, technical books/ research paper publications/ IPR/ patents, etc., as deemed fit by the expert members of the Selection Committee. Professional practice of 10 years after registration with the Council of Architecture. Desirable: 1. Teaching, research, industrial and/or professional experience in a reputed organization. 2. Published work, such as research papers, patents filled/obtained, books and/or technical reports.

: 11 : 3. Experience of guiding project work/dissertation of PG/Research students or supervising R & D projects in industry. 4. Demonstrated leadership in planning and organizing academic, research, industrial and/or professional activities. 5. Capacity to undertake/lead sponsored R & D, consultancy and related activities. 2. Associate Professor Essential: Bachelors or Masters Degree in Architecture or related discipline with First Class or equivalent (minimum of 60% in aggregate, if a class or division is not awarded either in Bachelors or Masters Degree) and Ph.D. or equivalent in the discipline (based on publication of five international journal papers, each journal having a cumulative impact index of not less than 2.0, with candidate as the main author). Professional practice of 10 years after registration with the Council of Architecture. Desirable: 1. Teaching, research, industrial and/or professional experience in a reputed organization. 2. Published work, such as research papers, patents filled/obtained, books and/or technical reports. 3. Experience of guiding project work/dissertation of PG/Research students or supervising R & D projects in industry. 4. Assistant Professor: Essential Bachelors Degree in Architecture or Masters Degree in Architecture or related discipline with First Class or equivalent (minimum of 60% in aggregate, if a class or division is not awarded either in Bachelors or Masters Degree.) Desirable: 1. Teaching, research industrial and/or professional experience in a reputed organization. 2. Papers presented at conferences and/or published in referred journals.

IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS
1. The presentation of 5 minutes, discussion and personal interview will be the part of interview. The candidates will make a PowerPoint Presentation of 5 minutes on the topic of their choice specially preferred the topic concerned of your research area which will be presented by them at the time of interview. They should also bring their resume alongwith copies of the relevant documents at the time of interview. 2. The interview will be ar ranged through Video Conferencing/ Skype for faculties, who are deputed in abroad on the prior approval of the competent authority of the University. The candidates will be considered for interview only if they have the required minimum API score of 400 and 300 for the post of Professor and Associate Professor respectively in category III as per UGC Regulation, 2010. You are therefore, requested to kindly confirm if you have the required minimum API score. 4. Please note that the candidates may be required to stay till late evening till the end of interview. 5. Canvassing in any form may lead to cancellation of candidature. 6. In case of any dispute / ambiguity that may occur in the process of selection, the decision of the University shall be final. 7. Number of posts advertised may be treated as tentative. The University shall have the right to increase/decrease the number of posts at the time of selection and make appointments accordingly. 8. The Selection Committee, after considering a candidate for the post of Professor or Associate Professor, may, if it is of the opinion that he or she will be suitable choice for the next lower post, can make such recommendation. 9. In case of any disputes/suites or legal proceedings against the University, the Jurisdiction shall be restricted to the Rajasthan High Court at Jaipur bench.
