MY ADVICE IN THE BELIEF OF THE MUSLIM: THE ONE WHO SUBMITS All praise is due to Allah the lord

of all the worlds and may peace and blessings be on our Prophet - the trustworthy, and on his family and righteousness is known. I am Abu Imran Ahmed Ibn Yahya Kindi known as Al-Kindi. I bear witness that none has the right to be worshipped except Allah and I bear witness that Muhammad is His slave and messenger (Sallallahu `alayhi wasallam) and I affirm it and its conditions. I also affirm to Allah His glorious names without explanation of His actions nor twisting its meanings nor likening nor asking how or negating them. For Allah the most High rose upon His Throne and we affirm to Him the most high speech and hearing and seeing for verily He is the most Merciful. I affirm this without asking how for verily Allah says:

...There is nothing like onto Him, and He is the All-Hearing, the All-Seeing...
[Ash-Shuuraa 42:11]

For Allah (He is the most High), has explained its meaning but its how is with Him. I affirm every name and attribute that which is affirmed with proofs from the book the Quran and the Sunnah, and I negate to Him the most High any belittlement or degrading of attributes and nothing escapes Him even an atoms weight in the sky or on the ground. I affirm Allahs knowledge; that which He bestowed to whom He wills from His creation and also in His knowledge that He kept from any angel brought near or any messenger that was sent. I affirm that Allah has with Him the five essences of the unseen, that (knowledge) which He never bestowed on any of His creation. They are mentioned in the last ayah of Surah Luqman where Allah says:

Verily, Allah! With Him (Alone) is the knowledge of the Hour, He sends down the rain, and knows that which is in the wombs. No person knows what he will earn tomorrow, and no person knows in what land he will die. Verily, Allah is AllKnower, All-Aware. [Luqmaan 31:34]

I affirm the way of the messenger (Sallallahu `alayhi wasallam) and I believe in it and act according to it and call to it and I do not negate anything that he came with. Upon the understanding of Abu Bakr and `Umar and `Uthman and `Ali and his companions and the ones who followed them in goodness until the Day of Resurrection. It is an obligation to be on the upright path that which is on a middle way between extremism and being negligent and we put forward the understanding of the companions for they were present at the time of revelation and the ones who followed them so we do not disagree. So if we dont find the issue with the companions we go to those who followed them. The ones who followed them (the tabi`een) we follow them in goodness not like the people of innovation like the khawarij and the jammiyah and the mutazillah and the ashirah. For Allah has discouraged sitting with the people of innovation Allah says:

And when you see those who engage in a false conversation about our verses (of the Qur'n) by mocking at them, stay away from them till they turn to another topic. [Al-An`am 6:68] Accompanying them brings about the disease of the heart. Ibn `Abbas said, Dont accompany the people of innovation for accompanying them brings about disease, except that which the religion allows you to so do not be the first to greet them nor host them or participate in their gatherings unless it is to advise them to that which they will benefit from and not to get involved in his innovation one might not be knowledgeable in affair and their innovation might affect one so if this is the case then let him not gather with them. The Salaf have preceded me in this but this is just a reminder. We are in disagreement with the people of innovation with every innovation that which Allah did not send a clear proof. We do not over throw the Muslim leaders while they establish the prayer and we obey them and this from obeying Allah and His messenger unless it is in sin, then there is no obeying the creation in disobeying the Creator and it is upon us to advise them and rectify their affairs and the affairs of the Muslims with the mannerism of Al-Islam; with gentleness, and one does this out of rectifying not out of belittlement and this will be of benefit to him and to the Muslim people, as this is mentioned in the hadeeth of Usamah, even if one is to be betrayed by them it is not for one then to over throw as long as its upon what I mentioned - neither by speech nor by the sword, for over throwing by speech this is something that you see the people of innovation do, may Allah protect and save Ahlus-Sunnah from this.

Ignorance is the root of the people of innovation and knowledge is the way to success and knowledge bears only good and ignorance bears only evil. It is an obligation to respect the Muslims and to give them their rights as mentioned in the hadeeth (The right of a Muslim over a Muslim is five). I affirm that Jannah is true and that the Hell Fire is true and they are both created and present, nor do they end and they are present forever. I affirm the Sirat (the bridge) crossing over the Hell Fire and the weighing Scales and the Pool that every Prophet will have and with him are his followers. I affirm the Pre-Decree and to every created is that which he was created for and it is upon one to act upon that which he was created for without a long in sight to the matter of decree such as if this was their if only and so on, but we hear and we obey and we seek forgiveness from our Rabb to Him is the return. I affirm that Allah has angels and books and prophets and the Last Day and the Pr-Decree its good and bad. I affirm the Resurrection and that everyone that acts will witness his actions - the good and the evil, so good will be repaid with good and evil will be repaid with evil. And belief (iman) increases and decreases. I advise the student of knowledge that he works to know this important affair without negligence, as it was said: If you pass the gardens of Jannah then sit and listen. Then he was asked, what are the gardens of Jannah? He said, it is the gathering, the circle of knowledge. So this is what I believe in I put it forward to my children and the general Muslims. I ask Allah to accept this and make benefit from it in this world and the next. All praise is due to Allah.
