Did I come fully prepared for class everyday? This student is routinely well prepped for class. She has always done the required homework assignments, is prepared to discuss the subject matter, and is ready to work when she comes to class. She is always organized and ready to go when the bell rings. The student routinely provides useful ideas when participating in classroom discussion. She is a definite leader who contributes positively to the class and supports the efforts of others. Students feel safe volunteering in her presence. This student is always respectful of herself, others, and the teacher. She is engaged in class on a daily basis, has a positive attitude, and does not criticize anyone elses ideas or work. This student always works well with others. She leads and delegates with ease and the group dynamic and product reflect so. She works well with anybody in the class. This student always puts forth her best effort. She is engaged in class, she visibly appears as though she is enjoying her time, and she always creates an environment of comfort, ease, and learning.

This student is often not well prepped for class. She may or may not have done the required homework assignments, is ill prepared to discuss the subject matter, and is sometimes not ready to work when she comes to class. She is disorganized and not regularly ready when the bell rings. This student sometimes provides useful ideas when participating in classroom discussion. She is a satisfactory student who does what is required. She listens to, shares with, and supports the efforts of others, but sometimes is not actively listening or responding. This student is often disrespectful herself, others, and/or the teacher. Student is rarely engaged in class, lacks a positive attitude, and frequently criticizes others.

Unacceptable - 1 point
This student is rarely prepared for class. It is often clear that she has not done the required homework and is unable to discuss the subject matter. Her disorganization is apparent and distracting. This student rarely provides useful ideas when participating in classroom discussion. She may refuse to participate or often disrupts or discourages others attempts to participate. This student is usually disrespectful herself, others, and/or the teacher. She is infrequently engaged in class, lacks a positive attitude, and consistently criticizes others.

This student often puts forth her best effort. She is often engaged in class, visibly appears as though she is enjoying her time, and she tries to create an environment of comfort, ease, and learning.

It is clear that the student does not work well with others. It is evident that she is either coasting and not contributing, or that she is taking over the assignment and not allowing others to collaborate. She wants to only work with her friends. It is easily apparent that the student does not care about the class. No effort is given and is distracting to other students. The student brings the class down or creates an awkward/uncomfortable atmosphere.
