In documenting they use MS excel or other Microsoft office softwares. Chapter 7-8 1. The hospitals does not use other software like the other tertiary hospitals, they only use Microsoft office in documenting their files. Examples of the softwares are the MS excel, MS word, MS powerpoint and other more. 2. The chief nurse stated that the patients files are done manually, only memorandum, bills, laboratory reports are done by the software. Basically, the use MS excel in documenting the records. 3. Yes, there are plans on upgrading the software probably next year when they transfer to their newly constructed hospital. They have no idea on how their software would be upgraded.

4. The hospital does not use Open software, they are only using Microsoft Office as their database. Chapter 10-11 2. Nursing informatics is not practiced in this hospital mainly because all of their datas are done manually. Only few recored are being processed using the machines. 3. The nurses/doctors in the hospital makes decision process using the patient information chart, this serves as their guide for the right decisions that should be given to the patient.
