Excellent (16-20 points) Student draws clear and insightful connections to the course material. The connections are smooth and not forced. Connections are seamless. A high level of effort has gone into the final product and can be easily seen. Student has made effort to examine their work, edit, revise, and improve before submitting final product. The final product is visibly of high quality and very polished. Student can take pride in their work and it inspires others to work to the same level Student has taken liberty with the assignment and thought outside of the box. The students creativity inspires others and stirs conversation and discussion. It is clear that the student spent a large amount of time reflecting and plotting out the answer to the prompt before beginning the project. Student adds personal opinion, and reflective process.

Good (11-15 points) Student draws good connections to the course material. Connections may be forced or pushed to connect to the question.

Fair (6-10 points) Student attempts to connect course material but fails either due to a lack of understanding or attempting to make a connection that isnt there. While the ideas are there, the student clearly did not spend enough quality time reflecting on the purpose of the assignment.

Poor (0-5 points) No connections are made to the course material or attempt to connect material are done incorrectly i.e. student misunderstands the concepts. Little to no effort has gone into the final product and it is easily visible.

Poor quality work from the student. The final product reflects a lack of interest, concern, or care. Visible and jarring lack of creativity. Product is forgettable.

The student spent a good amount of time plotting out her response and implementation of the project. Student attempts to incorporate own opinion or thought process.

It is clear that the student did not spend any time reflecting or planning out their response before getting to work. The final product is off topic, fails to answer the full prompt, or is disorganized. Total _________ / 100
