Part One: YOUR Epistemological World Views Summarize here your ndings (even if tentative!) about your philosophies of knowledge: Absolutist, Relativist, or Rationalist? Domains Item #s YOUR Philo of K Brief Reason + Remarks Natural Science Social Science 1, 5, 14 4, 8, 12 rationalist rationalist For me in science everything has a reason. In social sciences there are reasons to the trends and behavior of the society. Art is judged by opinion of people, so the judgement will be relative to the person judging. I feel that reason should be the main area of knowledge for this In religion I feel that whatever religion one may have, everyone follows that authority.

Part Two: Ways of Knowing How important are the different Ways of Knowing in the different domains? Rank them from 1 to 5 according to importance, with 1 as MOST IMPORTANT. If you think there are other ways of knowing/judging, use the last column and specify. Part Three: AUTHORITY and/or EVIDENCE/ARGUMENT When you justify claims, how much do you actually rely on External Authority and Direct Evidence for every domain? Assign a percentage to each one per domain (Just make an estimate, so NO decimal points--e.g., 25.2321%!). Make sure both total 100%. Domains % AUTHORITY 30 % EVIDENCE /ARGUMENT 70 100% Brief Reason + Remarks

Much of the reason why we have truths under this is through evidence. We rely on evidences of patterns to make conclusions. We rely on experts to teach us on the topic. We again rely on authority to tell us what is morally correct. The authorities of each religion dictated to the community what are the practices, understandings and learnings of the said religion.

Why do you think there is no OPINION in Part Three? I think the reason why there is no opinion is to see where we gain or knowledge on the domains. We can not formulate opinions without any knowledge of a said topic, so this part wanted to see where the majority of our knowledge comes from, evidence or authority.
