1) Minimum System Requirements

2) Installation
_________________ The game can be played on limited or standard user accounts, but you need administrator privileges to initiate the installation process. Ask the computers administrator for assistance if you do not have sufficient privileges. Step-by-step Installation instructions: Insert the LEGO BatmanTM disc into the DVD-ROM drive. If the launcher screen does not open, navigate to the DVD-ROM in Windows Explorer. Double click on the Setup.exe file to start the installation. Select a language. You will be prompted to select Easy or Custom installation. Easy installs the game into the default directory: 32-bit Windows: C:\Program Files\Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment\ LEGO Batman 64-bit Windows: C:\Program Files(x86)\Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment\ LEGO Batman If you select the Custom Installation option, you can enter a custom location. You also get the option of keeping your save games if you decide to uninstall the game at a later time. After the game has been installed, the installer will create links to this Readme, the End User License Agreement, the URL for the games website, the LEGO BatmanTM executable, and a link to uninstall the game. Windows XP:

Click on the Start Menu. Select All Programs. Select Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment. Select LEGO BatmanTM Click on Launch LEGO BatmanTM to start the game. Click View EULA file or View Readme File to open the respective files.

Windows Vista: Click on the Start Menu. Select Games. Double-click on LEGO BatmanTM in the Game Explorer to start the game. Right-click on LEGO BatmanTM and select View EULA file or View Readme File to open the respective files. _____________

3) Options

In the Option menu you can adjust settings for Video and Audio, as well as control and input devices.

Audio
To adjust audio settings, enter the Options menu. Use the up and down arrows keys to select Audio Volume. Use the left and right arrow keys to lower or raise the volume. Below the Audio Volume option is Music. Toggle Music on or off by pressing the Enter key. When you have made the appropriate changes, select Accept and press Enter.

Video
The game will adjust the settings to suit your system. If you want to change the Resolution, enter the Options menu. Select Video Settings and press Enter. Use the up and down arrow keys to navigate and select Screen Resolution. Use the left and right arrow keys to raise or lower the Screen Resolution. When you have selected the appropriate resolution, select Accept and press Enter. There may be additional options in the Video Settings and the Effect Settings menus, depending on your graphics card. If the game is running with a low frame rate, it is suggested that you lower the Resolution and Texture Quality. Both options can be found within the Video Settings menu. Note: Graphical corruption can occur after changing some of the settings. It will correct itself when you resume the game. If the game does not work properly after changing a setting and you cannot get to the Settings menu, you can delete the games configuration file to reset the settings back to default. Windows XP: Make sure Hidden Folders are visible. Navigate to C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Local Settings\Application Data\Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment\LEGO Batman. Delete the file named pcconfig.txt. Windows Vista:

Make sure Hidden Folders are visible. Navigate to C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment\LEGO Batman. Delete the file named pcconfig.txt.

4) Controllers
_________________ For the best game experience it is recommended that you play LEGO BatmanTM using a dual analog gamepad with six buttons. The Rumble function is not supported on Rumble capable gamepads. You will be unable to tip-toe /walk slowly when using a keyboard. Default Keyboard Commands Action Move Left Move Right Move Up Move Down Tag (Switch) Special (Build) Action (attack) Jump Character Toggle Up Character Toggle Down Start/Pause Customize Controls You can customize the controls at any time by accessing Control Setup in the Options menu: Access the Options menu located at the front end and in the in-game pause menu. Highlight Control Setup and press Enter or your gamepads equivalent. Use the arrow keys to select the command you wish to alter. Press Enter, then press the key you wish to assign to.
