Unit: Adobe Photoshop CS5 Classroom in a Book

Rationale:

Candice Tauger Elizabeth High School 9th-12th Grade Advance Computer Graphics 12 weeks

This unit will teach the students more advance skills with using Adobe Photoshop CS5.

How can we use Adobe Photoshop to help use create 3D projects and preparing files for the web?

Unit Overview
The students will have 6 separate lessons that will teach them the fundamentals and tools in Adobe Photoshop CS5.

Lesson One Objectives

Lesson Two Objectives

Lesson Six Objectives

Lesson Procedure
1) For each lesson the students are to access the chapter and the pictures they will use for each lesson located in their Google Apps folder titled Intro Computer Graphics. Each lesson has their own folder with everything they need in it. 2) For each lesson work through the steps together as a class. Make sure to take frequent pauses to make sure students are caught up or not too far ahead and to answer any questions students may have. 3) For students who are more advanced they can read the chapter themselves and work through the steps at their own pace helping their neighbors if need be. Each of the chapter lessons are located in their Google Apps folder titled Intro Computer Graphics. 4) After the completion of each lesson as a group the students are to follow the step by step instruction to recreate an image on their own. They can work in small groups to help each other out if need be. 5) Each lesson will be saved and turned in for grading through their Google Apps folder to look for understanding.
