ADVANTAGE OF VERTICAL REACTOR PYROLYSSIS A comparison between Two Technology

S.N. A VERTICAL STATIONARY PLANT More Safer because its vertical construction and stationary featureOut let pipe always remains away from material. So no chances of choking. hence no chances of extra ordinary pressure in the vessel In Vertical Reactor system the total capacity is divided in three parts i.e. one main reactor and two supporting reactor. In this system the Reactor is made with Two Layer of steel plate with a air gap in-between the two plates. And inner shell is made of Hot Die steel. In this system the Inner shall is heated up through hot air heat exchange system. i.e. The Metal part do not come in contact with direct flame of burning material. The life of reactor is almost double than conventional system because of point C & D Plant never comes to zero production. Even if there is break down in one or two reactors. This system gives almost continuous process. As when first reactor is fired (heating cycle), the staff will prepare second reactor and in the mean time the third reactor will be in cooling cycle. So after every six hour you get out put from the system. Low fuel consumption Ideally Fuel is required to fire the first reactor. If you make gas storage system, the next reactor shall be fired by the gas of previous reactor. Heat Loss is very low due to its constructional and design features. HORIZONTAL ROTARY PLANT Due to its rotary feature, and outlet pipe in the center of reactor vessel, and quantity of mass in the vessel always make it prone to accident.

Single Reactor handles the total capacity.

Here the reactor is made of Single layer of ordinary steel plate.

Here the burning zone is just below the main reactor wall. And the reactor comes in direct contact with the flames of burning material. The life of 16 mm plate reactor is not more then 3-4 years The plant comes frequently to zero production. Because of minor problems in single big reactor. Here Once the reactor fired whole factory staff comes comes to wait and watch position for next 18 to 24 hours. You get out put once in 24 hour

Every time Fire wood is required to fire the reactor.

Heat loss is very high. Hence high fuel consumption. Continue

Due to smaller quantity of material used, the cooling time is low. Each cycle takes maximum 12 hours. So each reactor can be charged twice in 24 hours. Due to controlled temperature heating The quality of carbon black is better then the other system. So there are are chances of industrial use of this carbon black. The content of Carbon particle in condensed oil is lower. Since the out let for oil vapors is from the top of the reactor and the inner material is stationary. The point no. 7 is self explanatory about safety of this system. The out-let of rector can never be blocked due to heavy material. The quality of steel wire separated from tyre is without deformation. So we get better price of steel.

Only one cycle is possible in 24 hours. If every operation is mechanized or otherwise even more time required.

The Quality of carbon black is very poor (Content of semi burnt polymers is more then the pure carbon black The oil vapor outlet is from the centre of rotary reactor. And the whole material is dynamic. It gives very high percentage of heavy oil and carbon contet in oil. Very high chances of blockage of outlet pipe due to deposition of semi solid carbon black mixture on the neck of outlet pipe. The steel recovered by this system is in the form of entangled wire bunch resulting in lower market price. THE BELOW FIGURE IS SELF EXPLAINATORY.
