Homeodynamics

Overview
Homeodynamics is a term we use to describe our process of remedy creation as well as a philosophy of healing. In this first article, we will introduce you to the process of creating a homeodynamic remedy and the underlying history and philosophy. Like its predecessor homeopathy, homeodynamics is based on the principle of similarity - the root homeo-. However, homeodynamics extends the similarity principle into additional areas. The foundation is one of dynamics rather than pathos. Dynamic has several meanings. It comes from the Greek dynamis - force or power. Dynamics pertains to or is characterized by energy or effective action; vigorously active or forceful; energetic; characterized by continuous change; marked by intensity or vigor.1 When these definitions are applied to homeodynamics, they create wonderful images of the interaction between the process of creating a remedy, the remedy itself, the practitioner and the patient. Homeodynamics is also based on the understanding that there is a substrate to physical reality that can be accessed by human intention and modified as appropriate. Homeodynamics, as homeopathy before it, is a bridge to the invisible or supersensible world that Samuel Hahnemann described - or to use more contemporary terminology - the Field. Starting Materials Homeodynamic remedies are energetically similar to homeopathic remedies. However, the starting materials are usually not physical - plants, minerals, etc, though physical materials can be and often are used. In the Digital age, usage of codes to replicate physical materials and processes has become commonplace. We are all familiar with the genome, the sequence of nucleic acids that represent an organisms hereditary information. Maybe less well-known, but very commonplace, is the digital representation of music. Figure 1 is a very small section of Chestnuts roasting on an open Fig.1 - Chestnuts roasting on an open fire fire. When this code is fed into a computer or synthesizer, it is converted into the well-known song. Equally commonplace, but invisible to most of us, is the binary code that drives all computers. In a fashion similar to the various digital encoding processes, the homeodynamic process for the creation of a remedy starts with cards that are encoded with the energy signature of the original substance. Examples of some of the cards can be seen in Figures 1 and 2. Figure 1 is a section of a card for Sulfur that uses precise multi-layered images created from symbols, shapes and colors. Each

element is precisely dimensioned - up to six decimal places - and placed in a 1.2 meter x 1.2 meter grid. Color and translucence are specified for each element. When the symbols are strictly alpha-numeric, as in Figure 2, up to 300,000 pages of text are created and the color of each individual sequence of numbers and letters is specified. Once each process is complete, the symbols, elements, etc are compressed to a card of appropriate size. Each type of card acts like an address to the original encoded field. Think of this field as an energetic representation of the morphogenetic essence of the material being created - a virtual DNA. Homeodynamic remedies can also be created from physical materials. To create a homeodynamic medicating potency, the card or sample is placed in an Alpha-numeric Transducer (ANT). This process - Coherent Energy Transduction - is the heart of a Homeodynamic remedy. A remedy created using this process is the highest possible quality, 100% consistent from batch to batch and is a great value. Practitioners are finding that these remedies act very deeply, but with a gentleness and subtlety not seen in remedies created by machine - the homeopathic industry standard. They are also finding that they can begin with a lower potency compared to the typical remedy.

Potentization The final step in the creation of a homeodynamic remedy is hand-vortexing. Hand-vortexing sets the remedy, thoroughly imprinting the 90% organic grape alcohol and 10% distilled water with the energetic signature of the substance. The homeodynamic process - a combination of the latest manufacturing methods with the best of the original methods - makes a homeodynamic remedy one of the highest quality tinctures available.

History
Coherent Energy Transduction is based on a process that started over 100 years ago by Dr. Albert Abrams. In the early 1900s, Abrams invented a device called the Dynamizer. It was thought that the Dynamizer might function in a way simliar to the newly discovered radio, and the term radio-nics (like electro-nics, mecha-nics, etc) was coined. The later 1800s and early 1900s witnessed a great birth in awareness of the energetic nature of reality. Electricity and radio as well as homeopathy became commonplace. Concurrent with Dr. Abrams shift towards the energetic realm as the source of disease, Dr. James Tyler Kent began his emphasis on the Mental and Emotional planes, using very high potencies to treat problems he found there - dematerialising homeopathy in the process.2

Always a controversial figure, who apparently saw great success in treating disease with his devices, Abrams was succeeded in his research in radionics by Dr. Ruth Drown. Dr. Drown redesigned Dr. Abrams device to be more compact and easyto-use. She invented the use of rates - numeric settings on her device think radio dials - that corresponded to problems she encountered with her patients. Her rates, still in use, use the standard decimal system Base10. Rates were determined for the healthy state, say of the liver, and when liver-based problems were found, the appropriate rate was applied. Rates were created for many things; human and animal anatomy, emotional states and the Homeopathic Materia Medica are just of the few areas for which rates were developed.

Unfortunately for the pursuit of research into a very promising field in the United States, both Abrams and Drown were discredited by the AMA and the FDA. However, the practice of radionics continued, unhindered by censorship from AMA or FDA-like entities, in the UK and Europe. Among other areas of research, continuing work was done on the usage of rates, to improve their resolution and effectiveness. In the early 1960s, a group of engineers, homeopaths and chiropractors in the UK began work on a new encoding processes. Malcolm Rae was one of the members of this group. Malcolm had initially rejected radionics, but an illness he contracted later in life, healed by the use of radionics and homeopathy, Malcolm Rae piqued his curiosity. An engineer by inclination, Malcolm wondered how it was possible that a remedy above 24X or 12C - with no possible physical substance - could possess any properties, much less the ability to provide the body with information it needed to begin healing. He began his research by using instruments available at the time; Base 10 instruments. He thought that Base 10 might not provide sufficient resolution to accurately encode the essence of the source material. Looking for better solutions, he developed a series of instruments using Base 44, which he found to be more effective, but he was still not satisfied with the results he was seeing. Magneto-Geometric Application Malcolm was working with trained radiesthestists - another field with a long and well-respected tradition in Europe - typically using pendulums, dowsing rods, etc. Radiesthetists frequently use a 100cm ruler when testing materials - the radiesthetist traces along the ruler until they find a positive response and the number found is representative of the quality of whatever is being measured. Malcolm thought there might be a relationship between the energy field of the substance being tested and the earths magnetic field.

He began testing substances with the ruler at different cardinal points of the compass. He found that he could trace the energy field of the substance by drawing points at each place he found a positive response. Initially he connected the points to create polygonal shapes of the energy boundary, but later found that the edges of the polygon were unnecessary to properly encode the energy signature of the substance. He went on to develop a method to encode substances that could be transferred to a suitably shaped card. While developing methods

to create cards, he also created a device to employ the cards. Experimenting, he found a method to guide the energy of the encoded material along a wire to a small metal well that a vial could be placed within. He found that if he used a small donut shaped magnet in this circuit, he could do away with the effect of the earths magnetic field. Adding a potentiometer - think radio dial again - he was able to adjust the intensity of the signal flowing along the wire, and thereby adjust the potency.3 The MGA method After many iterations of cards and potentizers, the finalized method Malcolm and his associates developed to create a card started with a large circle, much larger than the sample pictured here. A ruler is moved one arc point at a time and is tested for a positive response. If a point is found, it is marked, up to 6 marks for each card. To help imagine the vibrational pattern that this process of card creation represents, lets use the Calcarea carbonica card to the right as an example. Picture four people standing around a circular pool of water. Each person stands at one of the marked points represented by the card and drops a pebble into the perfectly still pool. The interference pattern created will be unique and is a representation of the vibration of the original substance. This method was finalized in the late 1970s and many of the MGA devices and cards are still seeing active duty.

MGA card - Calcarea Carbonica

Many many thousands of people have used remedies made from the MGA method with great success. When the cards and the process Malcolm described are properly followed, high quality remedies can be created. Similar to standard homeopathic remedy preparation, if the source materials - in this case the cards - are not of high quality, the remedy isnt either - Garbage In, Garbage Out. Why use an alternative method? An argument frequently brought up against processes like the MGA or Homeodynamic methods is that they dont follow Dr. Hahnemanns original specifications for remedy creation. Some consider these methods to be heretical to Hahnemanns ideals. Classical homeopathy, like mainstream science, has come up against the enigma of the Etheric, more on this in a bit. While we agree that the method can seem far-fetched for some, a brief discussion of Kent Potentizer homeopathic manufacture is in order. Homeopathic manufacture has changed significantly since Hahnemanns time. Very few manufacturers are hand-succussing their remedies, much less using a single vial for each potency as Hahnemann originally specified.4 The hand dilution/succussion method can be very difficult to properly execute. For example, a hand diluted and succussed remedy taken up to 200c requires a very detailed focused hand and mind, but a hand made 10M would require Herculean focus and almost unimaginable accounting processes, Malcolm specified the difficulties of the traditional remedy creation process well:

 The number of stages of succussions and dilutions The number of succussions per stage The force of impact of each succussion The degree of travel of each succussion The arc traveled for each succussion5 and this does not include the lab paperwork processes that are necessary to ensure that each step has been properly accounted for and completed. In addition to the mechanics, the quality of the original materials can vary tremendously from batch-to-batch. When those materials are wildcrafted or biodynamically grown and the potentization process genuinely elevates the original materials, as in the anthroposophical pharmacopeia, wonderful remedies are created. But remedies created in this fashion rarely exceed the 30th potency. The vast majority of remedies being made today are made by machine, as they have been for over 150 years. The homeopathic literature is rich with the stories of Flexion, Fincke, and Skinner, among many others, who attempted to solve the problem of accurately manufacturing remedies.6 Most reputable manufacturers will readily admit that there is a large amount of personal preference in their choice of equipment - and how the parameters specified above are followed. Necessarily, this leads to a large amount of variation in the final product. Malcolm and the people who have followed in his footsteps, saw these difficulties and carefully worked out processes that solve many of the problems. The big leap is, obviously, that any particular starting material could be encoded into some set of symbols, characters, etc. Though no definitive objective justification can be given that this process is effective, fifty years of experience demonstrates the possiblity that when the encoding process is properly followed, it can create very high quality remedies. Coherent Energy Transduction After Malcolms death in the late 70s, MGA work was continued by his close associates. Requests from practitioners came in for a potentizer for LM scale remedies. Nick Franks, an audio engineer by training, with an avocation in radionics, was asked if he could make an LM potentizer following Malcolms original specifications for the C and X-based devices. After a few months of experimentation, Nick was able to create an LM machine. After starting on the LM project, Nick began to make his own cards. At first, they were simple combinations of letters and numbers that he supposed might be a type of healing quanta. He also began using diagrams. The process Nick developed became quite elaborate, Nick requiring a high degree of focus and concentration. The initial cards involved long alpha-numeric sequences - up to 20,000 characters. Nick saw these sequences as a resonant frequency or phase attractor of the field of the original substance.7 As noted above, the current process can extend to 300,000 pages of characters. It appears that there

needs to be a sufficient information density to properly encode a remedy; insufficient density creating only an outline of the desired remedy.8 Once the body is introduced to this resonant frequency, it begins to normalise itself. The process is akin to using a tuning fork to tune a musical instrument and is very much inline with Samuel Hahnemanns idea of disease - as a mistuning of the body.9 It is also how Ruth Drown thought that her process, and that of Abrams before her, worked. The toning and tuning happen in the etheric Body Field. Once the correct song is sung and the etheric body retuned, the physical bodys normal processes of rebuilding can take place, in their appropriate time. Why use the term Ether? Along with other words that likely have similar meanings - orgone, chi, prana, od, body field, the spirit-like realm of Hahnemann, etc - the Ether refers to an allpermeating field that imbues physical reality; an inner or higher dimension. Though the term was discarded by physics in the early 1900s, found to be unnecessary to explain the medium that light travels in, it has a rich tradition that continues into the present. From our experience potentizing remedies, it appears that the potentizing process is not primarily electromagnetic. The process likely has a faint electromagnetic component - strong magnetic Resonance - in Turpentine film = Hans Jenny fields can erase a remedy - but nothing has been clearly identified to date.10 Basing the potentization process in the etheric raises the derision of the skeptics, but we find that it provides the best explanation for the potentization and healing processes. The potentization process - both the homeopathic and the homeodynamic - establishes a resonant link between the physical and etheric.

Homeodynamics
Homeodynamics is in its infancy. From a remedy creation perspective, the homeodynamic process has two main components - Coherent Energy Transduction combined with hand vortexing. The Alpha-numeric transducer (ANT) is, as its predecessor the MGA potentizer, a passive electronic device - there is no external source of energy. It is primarily a method for transducing - converting energy from one form into another - etheric fields from the non-physical to the physical. An ANT establishes a coherent energy field that that is free from extranaeous electronic fields - from the electrical grid, computers, etc. We feel that this is a critically important feature in the creation of a remedy. It is impossible to determine the qualitative and quantitative aspects of the flow of electricity from the grid to the lab to the manufacturing device, especially if the device is a computer. This undefined flow cannot help but alter the field that surrounds the tincture as it is being potentized. As a remedy and the process of creating it - whether Vortexial motion homeodynamic, anthroposphic or homeopathic - are primarily etheric, adding additional undefined fields to the process is

something we find problematic. ANTs are a coherent resonating node which exist simultaneously in the physical and supra-physical dimensions i.e. they have a force-presence sufficiently powerful to interrupt the higher-dimensional fields when appropriately tuned. They work to bring the etheric field of the carrier material into energetic coherence.11 Once the carrier material is sufficiently entrained, it is hand-vortexed. Hand-vortexing is the method followed by Anthroposophical pharmacies and is well described in the book - The Basis of Potentization Research by Theodor Schwenk.12 Hand vortexing is particularly good at condensing the etheric energies into the physical, opening the medicating tincture to the primal chaos. It is a reflection of the motion of the cosmos, evidenced by the abundance of spiraling forces from the micro- to macroscopic realms. Also, its a heck of a lot more fun to potentize this way than pounding a bottle on a book. We have found that marrying hand-vortexing with Coherent Energy Transduction creates an extremely high quality remedy. Hand vortexing creates an intimate connection between the remedy and the person doing the potentizing - a rhythmical dance of creator and created - an embodiment of the dynamic forces - Homeodynamics.
