Energy and Grants Project Manager The Professional Exchange Service Corporation (PESC) is hiring for an energy division

project manager. The energy division serves contracted clients in clean energy and sustainability fields. This position will work collaboratively with division program manager and director, as well as the PESC CEO and support staff. Position Description and Responsibilities Oversee the implementation and execution of assigned projects ensuring they are delivered according to contract/grant requirements. Coordinate project contract/grant administration, work-in-progress reporting and the preparation of financial budget updates for management and funding agency review. Keep abreast of latest sustainability trends, especially those most relevant to Californias San Joaquin Valley. Writing and promoting blogs and social media promotion. Develop and execute offline and online strategic communications plans for program activities. Other duties as assigned. Required skills/attributes Excellent writing, proofing and editing skills. Highly effective verbal and interpersonal skills Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills Ability to adapt to frequent change and prioritize multiple tasks effectively under pressure Proficiency in Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Internet required Proficiency with social media tools and outlets required Strong conflict resolution skills Customer service skills Have strong knowledge of regulatory, political and public strategies along with an interest in energy and air quality issues. Bachelors degree or equivalent industry experience Desired skills/attributes Strategic thinking with the ability to powerfully and effectively frame issues Knowledge of public funding resources and streams through governments and agencies. Understanding of relations management specifically within utility and government organizations. Experience in managing contractors. Previous work on grant funded projects. Powerful oral communications and presentation skills. Previous budget/schedule/performance/quality responsibility. Experience with building energy systems and controls. Office environment with some travel required (up to 25%), reliable transportation a must. Compensation $36-42,500 annually. Medical, dental, vision.
