These gains are now being threatened by the challenges of a slowing economic growth and increasing inequity in the distribution of wealth. This is evident across the globe now, spanning all continents. This constitutes one of the biggest global risks in terms of unrest and suffering. We need to debate on ways and means of creating systems which can help peoples withstand economic shocks, cope with the digital world, and be able to protect and preserve our environment. In what direction should government move: should they focus on education as the chief component to spur on growth or will schemes like NREGA be better? Why have the microfinance initiatives not been as successful as expected? What is the role that Global corporations and wealthy individuals can play in addressing and resolving these issues?

After that, participants will form groups on the four key risks discussed on the previous day of the summit and develop action plans to mitigate these risks.
