INSTRUCTIONS / LIST OF DOCUMENTS FOR VISA

1. VISA APPLICATION FEES OF $160 and VFS Service Charges has to be DEPOSITED WITH DESIGNATED HDFC BANK ALONG WITH A photocopy of the PASSPORT. YOU WILL BE GIVEN A RECEIPT (BLUE & PINK SLIPS) WITH BAR CODE STICKER AFFIXED ON THE SAME[Please Check the Exchange Rate and Service charges applicable at the Bank] Fill up DS-160 at https://ceac.state.gov/genniv/ are required to be entered and a digital photograph of 50 mm * 50 mm in white background can be uploaded (so keep soft copy of photo in your mail box). The Bar Code affixed on the HDFC Receipt gets activated after 2 working days. Please visit www.vfs-usa.co.in to book your visa date. CHARTERED ENGINEERS CERTIFICATE (Valuation of immovable assests) - One set of photocopies of all properties have to be submitted for valuation to us. CHARTERED ACCOUNTANTS CERTIFICATE All documents pertaining to savings/ liquid assets such as bank balance certificates, Pass books, Bank Statements, NSCs, KVPs, MIP, LIC, UTI, Shares, Provident Fund Balances, etc are to be submitted. In additions, Copy of latest salary certificate, latest Form 16, latest Income Tax returns, Business Income papers Balance sheet/ profit and loss account statement, computation of total income copy etc. are also to be submitted towards proof of Annual Income. For evaluation please submit photocopies of the above along with a copy of the I 20. ALL SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS (IT Papers, Fixed Deposits, Other Investments, and Sale Deeds Etc). a) Original Passport with minimum 6 months validity b) I-20, Acceptance letter and SEVIS fee receipt. c) ALL ACADEMIC DOCUMENTS IN ORIGINAL (Including 10th and intermediate) SEMESTER WISE/YEAR WISE MARK SHEET/COURSE COMPLETION CERTIFICATE / Provisional / Degree certificate. d) TOEFL / GRE/ GMAT scores and Additional score reports

e) GRE/GMAT & Additional Score report. f) 2 PHOTOGRAPHS (PASSPORT SIZE 50 x 50, with WHITE BACKGROUND) photo has to upload while filling DS-160 form. 6. USD 200 (SEVIS fee to be paid through www.fmjfee.com minimum 3 days prior to the Visa interview date and the receipt to be carried without fail for Visa Interview. Please ensure that you take a printout of the receipt immediately after online payment of the Fees as the same cannot be saved. a) SEVIS Students Exchange Visitor Program. This is basically to keep track of students entering the US. The Sevis fee has to be paid on the SEVIS number which is given on the right hand upper corner of the I 20. Once you confirm the university where you want to go, pay the SEVIS fee minimum 3 days prior to the visa interview.
