Hermes (Unheralded) God of the Postmodern Transition: Alchemy and the Imagination

Various sample chapters by ian Irvine (Hobson) applying adapted transpersonal, Jungian and traditional alchemical thinking to contemporary literary and cultural topics. Alchemical understandings of 'creativity' are also discussed throughout. This collection of writings will soon be published as a book entitled 'Hermes (Unheralded) God of the Postmodern Transition'. Most of the pieces are based on a series of talks ian delivered between 2008 and 2013 relunder the general title of 'Alchemy and the Imagination'. Jung's 'active imagination' is also discussed and expanded into Quantum and Biosemiotic spheres in this series.
