Dorothy Partch: Complaints to Dept. of Public Health & Citations Against Wilton Meadows Nursing Home

With the help of our Regional Long-Term Care Ombudsman, I filed my initial Complaint against Wilton Meadows in Jan. 2011, after not being allowed to see her at all for six weeks. A week later my mother described the incident that resulted in her horrendous bruises and dislocated shoulder as an assault. The facility was fined a few hundred dollars. Since then, I have filed three more Complaints, all resulting in Citations ~ some more appropriate ~ or absurd ~ than others.
