Description
Become a High Performer
Performance whores come in many forms. Marc Effron is the kind that is obsessed with getting people fire on all cylinders. Much like the PA approach to athleticism, Marc focuses on finding where a person or business is deficient and then attacking the weakness. Through his years developing high performers in business and leadership, he has found several common traits. Be good at something. Reaalllly good. Couple that skill with being likeable and you will be unstoppable in your field.
How do you quantify your likeability factor? If you work closely with 10 people, aim to be liked by all 10. Eight is just not good enough to be a top performer? Does this mean you have to be a bit of chameleon to find yourself rising through the ranks of your establishment, absolutely. Different relationships require different forms of attentive behaviors and the faster you kind determine each, the better chance you have at becoming a force in your field. Effron believes that although you may posess the skill and knowledge to dominate, you can not rely on those things alone. Studies show that more often, you can be lacking in skill and still find yourself ahead of the competition if you are liked. Are you willing to play the game?
EMPOWER YOUR PERFORMANCE.
