Description

In this episode of the Parenting ADHD Podcast, I'm talking with mental skills trainer, Carrie Cheadle. Mental skills training is common in sports and athletics, but it's also invaluable for parents raising kids with special needs. Carrie and I talk about releasing the pressure valve, resilience, redefining success for our parenting and our kids, and adopting the mindset you need to thrive. This is an awesome conversation for every parent, but especially for parents raising kids with disabilities.
"Managing stress [is important] so I can make sound decisions, and have enough mental and emotional strength to be able to do the challenging things."
