Description

This episode of The Forbiden Fruit will ask the question, With the US being a sex-negative culture, how does that affect our country? Does it increase the number of sex crimes, teen pregnacies, and STD's? Some have said that the US is too conservative concerning the human body and sex. Is religion behing all of this? There are no nude beaches and our TV shows are overly censored compared to some other countries.. When in Sex-Positive countries, the naked human body is viewed differently, and in some of these, if not all, have lower sex crimes. Why do some get upset when a mother decides to breastfeed in public? The way sex and the human body is viewed, should be more of an individual prefrence, than a legal isssue. Should the government really mandate who an individual can not marry? Are our Religious groups controlling to much or our culture. Where is the separation between church and state?
