In honor of Mental Health Awareness Month, Kari shares her experience with bouts of depression and how being mindful is scientifically proven to help bring people into the here and now. Kari explains the differences between mindfulness and meditation. She also discusses two mindfulness exercises. Kari’s Flourishing Skills and Accountability groups will offer a time to come together with kindred spirits and learn how to apply scientifically proven skills to increase your positivity ratio. Groups begin June 5, 2018, and will run (pun intended) for six weeks. These are intimate groups where you get to learn and apply skills among a safe, welcoming, small group of people.
