Description

“Absorb what is useful, Discard what is not, Add what is uniquely your own.” — Bruce Lee       In this episode Neviana and I talk about:    * Unconventional food disorders and why she is now eating meat    * How looking at herself, changed her child's behavior    * Why everyone has a different journey and we all need to start asking ourselves, 'what works for me/us/my child?"      Neviana Maleyko www.nevianamaleyko.com   Born in Bulgaria, raised in South Africa, and now residing in Canada, Neviana grew up understanding the importance of fresh food as it was enjoyed from her grandparents’ backyard.  After moving to Canada, Neviana realized her passion for healthy cooking. Neviana continued on this path to better nutrition by attending countless seminars on healthy eating and lifestyle changes while living in Calgary and Toronto.  During this time, she discovered food is a very important aspect of ones lives that can help  heal numerous ailments by a simple change in eating habits. She believes bringing together diet, lifestyle and mindfulness is a power that can move mountains. You cannot be good at one and leave the rest behind.  After 10 years of continued self-teaching and overcoming a few health struggles, Neviana continues to apply her knowledge to her everyday life, which she now shares with her customers, husband and two beautiful children. Neviana’s passion is to help people  create a full circle in their  life by eating well, being kind to themselves and exercising. Currently she is  expanding her knowledge by traveling all around the world by attending seminars, cooking classes and enjoying different cuisines. Established in December of 2012, Carrots n’ Dates began with an array of very simple vegan, gluten free deserts and raw energy bars. With a seemingly overnight success, Neviana’s dream has evolved into a wide range of ready cooked meals, wholesome salads and raw deserts that are now available for sale at the cafe.         PODCAST SPONSOR: BIG LIFE JOURNAL  I've teamed up with BIG LIFE JOURNAL to help you give your children the tools and strategies they need to live their BIG LIFE.
