Dr. Berg talks about a situation whereby a person needs more and more insulin and no matter what, blood sugars are not stabilizing. Amylin is another hormone produced by the beta cells of the pancreas and if you were to also take this, it could be the missing piece you need. Ask your doctor about this and also do your own research on this as a possible solution. This advice is on top of all the other things I have been recommending. It is also for chronic type II diabetes and type 1, where the cells of the pancreas are burning out.
