Sexism is complete BS. It shouldn't happen. And it does.

Examples of sexism:

Every time a woman is paid less than a man

Every time someone tells a woman to smile

Every time someone makes a comment about your looks / body

Every time someone feels uncomfortable in the restroom with a trans person

When someone assumes you have a different role than you do

All the double standards

Pink tax

Feeling unsafe because of your gender


Google dictionary definitions:
Sexism - Prejudice, stereotyping, of discrimination,  typically against women on the basis of sex
Genderism - another work for gender bias

What to do:

Bring awareness

Call it out

Check on your colleagues

Find your work support system

Do not accept it

Talk to HR

Be honest and transparent
