    Traffic Detour Plan

    Must develop and execute a detour sign and marking plan


    Detour plan must be executed based on road speed and traffic conditions. Detour length on highways 150m200m

    Safety Cones

    Ensure that safety cones is positioned before starting the job. Distance between Safety cones is 3-5m must be tighten together with rope. Ensure that the safety cones must be positioned inside the shoulder line

    Traffic & Warning Signs

    Ensure that adequate traffic signs is available before starting the job. Arrow signs must be provided at taper and before working area. Ensure that the Men at work & Arrow signs must be positioned appropriately at work area.

    Detour Plan & Traffic Dept. approval

    Ensure that Traffic Dept. Approval report is available at site before starting the job. Ensure Updated approval report with stamp from traffic department.
    Ensure traffic detour plan is with team leader / driver/ Foreman

    Safety PPEs- Safety Boot, Hat & Gloves

    Ensure that proper safety PPEs like Safety Shoe, Helmet , gloves, high visibility jacket..etc. are available. Always wear safety PPEs when working at site.

    General Safety requirements


    Avoid Spillage of Fuels.

    Ensure all fuel containers are properly labeled and provide with dip tray.

    Check all gas cylinders and gauges are without any damage.
