INTRODUCTION
Mechanical equipment can be classified into Rotating and Static equipment.
MECHANICAL EQUIPMENT
VESSELS
Vessels are equipment usually a closed container designed to hold gases or liquid at a pressure different from ambient pressure.
VESSEL SHAPES
Pressure vessels may theoretically be almost any shape, but shapes made of sections of spheres, cylinders, and cones are usually employed.
VESSEL CONFIGURATION
Shell Head types - Elliptical Head - Hemispherical Head - Cone - Truncated cone - Sphere

CONSTRUCTION MATERIALS
Generally, almost any material with good tensile properties that is chemically stable in the chosen application can be employed. Common materials for OFON 2 Vessels include SA 516 GR 60, GR 70 ..etc. Special materials like Nickel,Monel,Incolloy 800,Inconel 400 etc.
CONSTRUCTION MATERIALS
Many pressure vessels are made of steel and steel alloys like carbon steel,Normalized carbon steel etc. Other very common materials include copper and polymers.
APPLICATIONS
Power
Generation Industries for fossil, gas, and Nuclear power. Petrochemical industries for storing and processing crude oil. Chemical Industries as Chemical reactors.
