You may deploy a single server license of SharePoint Server for Internet Sites Enterprise (FIS-E), as a SharePoint server or as a FAST Search server but not both concurrently.
With FIS. no CALs are required for external users. Optionally, in extranet scenarios you may purchase CALs for external users in lieu of purchasing FIS license (s). Note: FIS can never be used to support internal employee scenarios CALs are always required.

You may deploy a single server license of SharePoint Server for Internet Sites Enterprise (FIS-E), as a SharePoint server or as a FAST Search server but not both concurrently.
e.g. If you have 6 FIS-E server licenses, you are allowed to deploy any combination of FIS-E and FS4SP servers as long as it adds up to 6; e.g. 4 SharePoint Servers and 2 FS4SP servers.
You cannot deploy a SharePoint and FS4SP on the same server as this configuration isnt supported.
Plan 2 includes all features included in Plan 1; offers are inclusive and not additive
Yes
Server-only license
A FAST Search for SharePoint system would include both SharePoint Server 2010 components and FAST Search Server 2010 for SharePoint components, and you must have at least one of each. But as they scale, they are not 1:1. For example, a configuration sized for 45M items might have 5 FAST Search for SharePoint licenses and 2 SharePoint Server licenses, depending on various parameters.
Using the Software Usage Tracker, a new tool in the Microsoft Assessment and Planning (MAP) 5.0, customers can get reports on server and client use of common deployments of Microsoft SharePoint Server. Map 5.0 provides:
Number of SharePoint 2010 servers discovered Number of devices accessing SharePoint 2010 servers Number of devices accessing SharePoint 2010 Enterprise servers (i.e., servers with Enterprise features unlocked) Number of users accessing SharePoint 2010 servers Number of users accessing SharePoint 2010 Enterprise servers (i.e., servers with Enterprise features unlocked)
