Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics all play an integral part in the teaching of the whole. The science, engineering, and mathematics fields are made complete by the technology component that provides a creative and innovative way to problem solve and apply what has been learned.

Why STEM?

STELLAR
Science & Technology Exploration Leveraging Learning, Attitudes & Relevance, or STELLAR, is an educators science club. Meet monthly at ASU Polytechnic College in Mesa. Share science lesson ideas and receive lesson resources, in addition to hands-on experience. Field trips!!!

Matches astronomers with teachers who want to enrich their science program Third grade high school Astronomers agree to visit at least four times during the academic year Project Astro Workshops: Friday, 9/21 (8 AM -11PM) and Saturday, 9/22 (8:30 3) Universe at Your Fingertips guide with fifty-plus activities

Honeywell Fiesta Bowl Aerospace Challenge 5th-8th grade students Plans for International Lunar Base Scale Model Preliminaries February 4-6, 2013ASU Polytechnic Campus

High school students 5-member teams Study and learn about natural resources, compete for the opportunity to win significant prizes and represent Arizona at the annual Canon Envirothon. Students and their coaches prepare for the competition with assistance from natural resource professionals. The major areas of study aquatic ecology soils and land use wildlife forestry a current environmental theme that changes yearly. Students must learn about each topic area and understand that these resources are not isolated subjects, but rather interact within a given ecosystem.
