The Flexent/AUTOPLEX wireless network architecture is evolving. Therefore, an integrated OA&M framework is needed to manage: new Flexent network elements (e.g.. Application Processors, Flexent cell sites). existing AUTOPLEX network elements (e.g. ECPC, Series II cell sites).

26
Release 14.0 Introduced: Multiple AP Frames per MSC (3 max.) Support 8 APs per APF Microcell and Modular Cell On The Same APF OAI-AP Capability OMP-FX

Common Application Processor Software Platform (CASP) Signaling Link Daisy Chain (SLDC) DSO Management for Facilities Testing EMS Distributed Client
28
Release 16.0 provides full 222 Flexent Cell support with AP capacity improvement. More RCSs per AP pair provides investment protection (4 more RCSs before an additional AP pair is required). Or 16 more RCSs before an additional APC is required. Release 17.0 supports 384 Flexent cells Plan includes smooth transition into NGN AP and capacity/price improvements along the way.
