OBJECTIVE 7: Most Vital Characteristics of

Cisatracurium

With the above Choices,

47 % doctors were in support of the option c 18% doctors believe that less risk is associated with molecule i.e.option b 16% doctors were in favor of both the choices b & c. 13% doctors has a positive opinion about the molecule and considers all the characteristics equally vital. Rest all has mixed opinion regarding this.

OBJECTIVE 8: Ideal Condition for use of

Cisatracurium
a. All the GA procedures with duration below 30 min. b. All the GA procedures with duration between 30-60 min c. All the GA procedures with above 60 min.

With the above choices, data collected can be concluded as

41% doctors considers cisatracurium in all the GA procedures. 24% of doctors believe it would be ideal to use in only less than 30 min. GA procedures 16% of doctors is in favor of using it in only 30-60 min GA procedures 11% doctors believe it to useful in both 30 min. & 30-60 min. GA procedures Rest of the opinions were mixed.

Conclusion
Safety is the most important characteristics that individual seek in a ideal NMB agent. Atracurium has been in the top of the list in their clinical practice in any GA procedures, followed by Rocuronium and Vecuronium. Atracurium is the first choice in 30 min. & 30-60 min. surgery, while Rocuronium and Vecuronium is most commonly used in long surgery procedures Cisatracurium has good positioning in terms of no need of reversal agent, and also considered as the safe molecule which is good positioning before the launch.
