Shortcomings of OB
Field of OB is only descriptive and not prescriptive Knowledge of OB is perceived as a fad. Physical removal of barriers (open offices, shared canteen, common uniform) has not abolished mental barriers between the manager and the managed. Managers expect quick fix solutions from behavioral programs which address only the symptoms and not the actual problem.
