BUSINESS ACTIVITIES

OPERATIONAL PLANS.
POLICY:
-The employees who absent must have the sick leaves and annual leave. -All the workers must work 9 hours a day. If an employees is working more than 9 hours a day, the rest will calculated as over time. - If the employees worked well, and excellent, the employees will be given the best employees award or bonus.
RULES:
1) Produced furniture must be of high quality and are in good condition. 2) Each employee and servicing must comply with occupational ethics. 3) Workers who are absent three times to work, will be given a warning and will subsequently dismissed.
MOTIVATION APPROACH:
GOAL-SETTING THEORY: -employees know what the directions from 1st level manager to them to know what they need to be accomplished and they need to done.
-successful goal-setting: SMART S= specific the manager must give specific goal to the employee for they accomplished the task. i.e: the manager ask the employee for 50% profit for this month and employee must do well the task for they accomplished the task. M= measureable- the manager can calculate or measure the profit when the task has been done. i.e: the manager can count the profit at the end of the month. A= achievable- the task what was given by 1st line manager must right for employee to done the task and achieve the goal. i.e: the manager give the task to the employees to produce 500 units of furniture of this month. R=result oriented- for the currently month the manager can different the profit with last month. i.e: for the month the manager already RM 5000 and the next month profit the manager achieved RM 6000. T=time- the time taken to achieve the profit that has been ask for manager must be right time to achieve in one month.
CONTROLLING APPROACH:-Feed forward control (Pre-action control) pre-action control is a control that happen before jobs start to avoid the problem in future. example: the manager hired a good technician to do job well. If the machine is not working, the technician can repair the machine.
