What to do when you get the call


Treat the situation as a serious mater Get contact information from the caller Get as much additional info. as you can Make certain the person can get back to you Remember whose job it really is!
You may be called just because you are a known emergency responder in the community Contact the agency with primary responsibility

Conducting Alerts
If CAP is the resource to be used for the search, you will need to be able to readily get in touch with your personnel quickly and with the information they need. This can be done via several methods:
