Each person has different values, experience, knowledge of an issue. So people dont initially have a shared awareness of the issue.

2. Purpose
Provide approach to exam the various aspects of an issue

Qualitative cost/ benefit analysis of reaching an ideal state using input from a variety of sources.

My wife quite frequently would like me to I would like to be free from any commitments either help her shop or just go along with her. which I am not interested in. I am very satisfied if I can sleep in on the weekends. Relaxing alone on the weekend is very enjoyable to me. I do not particularly like to have to do household chores on the weekend after working all week.

Barrier
I have no interest in extended shopping with my wife. Not enough time with my wife with my wife during the weekdays. There are certain responsibilities I have at home.

Pay-offs
Enjoyable weekends will be increased without my wife compromising her needs. Can be more productive in my work. Discover ways for my wife and I to both relax on the weekends.
