The North Eastern Development Finance Corporation Ltd (NEDFi) is a Public Limited Company registered under the Companies Act 1956 on 9th August, 1995. It is notified as a Public Financial Institution under Section 4A of the said Act and was registered as an NBFC in 2002 with RBI.

NEDFI Activities in Mizoram

Launching of Business Facilitation Centre at Aizawl, Mizoram: In addition, NEDFi Aizawl Branch organized a release of handbook titled 'How to Start a Business Enterprise' under CSR activity. The handbook was released by Shri. R.L Rinawma, IRS, Principal Secretary, Industries, Govt. of Mizoram on January 12, 2012 at 12:30 hrs in his office chamber. The handbook is printed in English and vernacular (Mizo) language.

Integrated Programme for Development of Banana Bark Based Craft at Sesawng village, Aizawl district, Mizoram A 15 days skill development training programme was organized on Banana Bark Based Craft to 24 numbers of artisans from Sesawng village. In addition, NEDFi Aizawl branch organized 1 day skill development training programme on using colour/dye for these artisans on Dec 29, 2011.

RBIs Financial Outreach Camp -2nd Phase at Sesawng, MizoramNEDFi Aizawl branch office participated in the Financial Outreach Camp organized by RBI on November 15, 2010 at Sesawng Village, Mizoram. Sri V. S. Das, ED of RBI was the chief guest of the programme.

16th Incorporation Day Celebration at Aizawl, Mizoram Aizawl branch celebrated NEDFis 16th Incorporation day by organizing a wall painting project by school children in Aizawl, Mizoram.
