Is

there a set of characteristics that determine a good leader?

Personality? Dominance and personal presence? Charisma? Self confidence? Achievement? Ability to formulate a clear vision?

Are

such characteristics inherently gender biased? Do such characteristics produce good leaders? Is leadership more than just bringing about change? Does this imply that leaders are born not bred?

trait leader should have. Credibility due to in-depth research work done. Focus only on leaders and personality traits. Leaders can identify their traits and work on them. Personality and assessment test are developed.

traits are added by various researchers. Highly subjective. Fail to describe how traits affect the outcomes of group and teams. Does not include situations. Not useful for training and development.
