Nowadays, buildings constitute 50 percent nation’s wealth in the world; so, owners are concerned buildings that more over provide their welfare, can save their investment. In addition, complex problems are shared and impact environment and urban sprawl, like climate change, air pollution, global warming, and etc. Sustainability has been proposed not only to reduce environmental hazards; it can also integrate social-economical requirements without compromising the welfare of future generation. In this case, sustainable design consider larger settlement and industrial developments patterns and attempt to make them healthier, least wasteful, and with fewer impact on environment. Further, the concept of constructability that has been offered sequent sustainability during previous fourth decades is a project management technique that reviews construction from start to finish, in order identifying obstacles and use some methods like innovation lead to achieve overall project objectives. Therefore, integration between constructability and sustainable design could provide condition that efficient resource utilization and also, reduce wastage that consequently leads to sustain environment economic and society. In other words, sustainable design and constructability are two components of an efficient design and construction. The purpose of this paper is to review related literatures and find key points between constructability and sustainable design to enhance the quality of buildings and consequently quality of life.
