History
Before the first civilizations, there is evidence that man knew the effects of certain plants, such as opium, and used them. In all civilizations, from the Assyrian (Empire from 1813 to 609 b.C.) to the current century, mankind has consumed all drugs for different reasons, religiuous, ritual, medicinal, habits and custums, distraction, etc..
Types of drugs
There are many types of drugs Sedative-hipnotic: First function is induction to sleep, by type can cause: insomnia, anxiety, confucion, poor judgment and death. Hallucinogenic: Changes in perception, consciousness, emotion. Anti psychotic: Produce relief in symptoms of psychosis (hallucinations or delusions, exhibit personality changes and disorganized thinking). Antidepressant: Produce relief in symptoms of depression, dysthymia and anxiety. Analgesics: Reduce or inhibit pain. Euphoric: Effects may include relaxation, stress, happiness or pleasure. Anorexic: Abolish or reduce the appetite.
"In Health" magazine asked a panel of experts to rank commonly used drugs by their potential for addiction. Two factors were used: how easily people become addicted, and how difficult it can be for people to quit. A score of 100 represents a high potential for addiction, 1 a low potential. Because each individual reacts differently based on psychology, physiology, and social pressures
Methamphetamine (98.53/100)
Damage to health: 1.55 of 3. Inyected and smoked Effetcs (6-8 hours): Produces euphoria, relieves fatigue and inproves performance on simple tasks. Complications: highly addictive, violent behavior, phychosis (hallucinatios, delirium, insomnia), attention deficit disorder, lack of hunger

Damage to health: 2 of 3. Smoked Effects (5-10 minuts): euphoria, enormously pleasurable disinhibition, vigor and decreased fatigue, self-esteem and hyperactivity. Complications: Subsequently appears depressive fatigue and confusion. Paranoia, hallucinations, progressive memory loss, liver damage and brain hemorrhages, desire-need of the drug.

Complications: Decreased alertness, delayed reflexes, loss of muscle coordination, tremors and hallucinations, decreases self control, affects memory.

Damage to health: 2.65 of 3. nasally inhaled, smoked, inyected. Effects: Decreased pupil size, sense of peace, euphoria, pleasant or terrifying hallucinations, decreased level of consciousness, warmth, sleepiness. Complications: Overdose, psychosis, status epilepticus, aids and hepatitis.
