Suggestions & Recommendations
1. Electronic media must play the important role to aware the
people of urban/tribal areas about the problem of underage
marriages.
1. We should give the proper facilities of education to the areas
where the underage marriages are common.
1. We should make the law applicable for underage marriages
to all over the Pakistan.
1. N.G.O’s should play their role in this perspective.
• We should ban those customs that causes underage marriages
e.g. Vani, Watta Satta & Swara etc.
1. We should give the awareness about the drawbacks of
underage marriages to the Jirga members of tribal areas.
LIMITATIONS

1. We cannot take interviews from females due to Hijab &

gender constraints.

1. We cannot go the tribal areas for interviews where

underage marriages are mostly take place.

1. We cannot meet the Jirga commission to know why they do

not leave these customs.
