INTRODUCTION TO THE STUDY


Organization study deals with evaluation and analysis of all the aspects of a particular firm. It gives a clear idea about the functions and practice of various department heads and operational efficiency of the department as a whole. This particular study gives a clear idea about the functions, practices and all other aspects of KERALA AGRO FRUIT PRODUCTS.

OBJECTIVES
The objectives of the project Organization study of KERALA AGRO FRUIT PRODUCTS are: To study about the organization as a whole and the different aspects concerning the working and the activities of the organization in various fields of business. To study about the organizational structure, it's hierarchical level and functions. To understand the functioning of the company in terms of the department. To identify the SWOT and PORTERS FIVE FORCE MODEL of KERALA AGRO FRUIT PRODUCTS.

For conducting the study both primary and secondary data are used. Primary data Primary data are collected directly and also it is first hand in nature. SCOPE OF THE STUDY


The project study on organisation provides an excellent opportunity for experiencing or understanding the organisation in its real colors. This also enables to found out the correlation between the theory and the real business situations. The project helps in developing the internal abilities like conceptual, inter personal skills and there by encourages the entrepreneurial capabilities of the student. The study covers the functioning of marketing, personnel (H.R) and finance & production departments. All these analysis and study gives an idea about the functioning of all departments in the organisation.

FINDINGS
KAFP has got ISO 9001-2008 certification. So they have only quality product. Company maintains fair wage and salary structure, so the employees are satisfied with their work and remuneration. The available resources are not fully utilized. Employees in KAFP are committed and competent. There is a good relationship between employer and employees. The organization may not give much importance to the Research and Development. Safety and security measures are not well established. The marketing and promotional strategies are not effective. Finance is the lifeblood of any business activity. The major problem connected with KAFP is the deficiency of finance and the available fund is not utilized in the proper manner. Almost in every matter, unnecessary interferences from the part of Trade unions. The Company does not able to make changes in the existing products.

CONCLUSION
From the detailed study of function of different departments and working conditions of the organization has revealed that the organization environment is very good. The departmental communications is found very effective. The qualities of the products as well as raw materials are ensured in order to meet the high the quality standards of international market.

SUGGESTIONS

The phase of modernization of different departments helps to overcome most of the problems faced. Funds received should be productively utilized for the intended purpose. Giving more attention to the Research and Development activity in the organization. Introduction of good Management Information System. There should be maximum utilization of available resources, so as to increase the efficiency of the organization. New products should be developed in order to achieve competitive advantage. Improving safety measures, utilization of factory premises Various promotional activities should be adopted for increasing the sales prospects in the international market.
