This delicious ice cream sandwich dessert is prepared with strawberries and almonds and is perfect for any dinner party. For the wrapper: Mix Maida, Ghee and little water and knead to a dough and keep aside. For the filling: Heat Ghee and add Khova and fry for 2 minutes. Add Sugar Powder, Elaichi, Almonds, Raisins, Cashew nuts, Pistachios and Coconut and fry for 2 minutes.Switch off the stove and leave it aside to cool. Divide the mixture into small balls. For the syrup: Mix Sugar and 1 Cup water and cook until the Sugar melts. Keep stirring. Cook until the syrup is slightly thick. Add Saffron and switch off the stove. For the Gujia: Divide the Maida dough into lemon sized balls. Roll out each one on a floured surface into discs. Keep the Khova-nuts ball on one side of the wrap and close it with the other half of the wrap. Close the edges by squeezing the dough in between fingers. Fold the edges in for a neat finish.

Kheer made from Moong Dal is very good for the body. It helps reduce excess body heat and helps soothe the body from within. Ingredients: 1/3 cup Moong Dal (yellow/split) 3-4 tbsp sugar 3 Cups Water 1 Cup Whole Milk Cashews and Raisins 1 tsp Ghee

Dry roast split moong dal in a pan till its light and fragrant, about 2-3 minutes. Bring water to a boil and add the moong dal to it. Let cook till half done. Bring milk to a boil in another pan and add this to the moong dal. Let dal cook completely. You will know when its done when the dal is split on the edges. Add sugar and stir. Bring to a boil. Add more milk if kheer is too thick. Heat the ghee in a small pan. Add cashews and raisins and fry till light brown. Add this to the kheer.T his kheer tastes best when served hot or at room temperature.

Do not try carrot halwa with jaggery instead of sugar.Probably that mite not please ur palate. Trust me ,i did it once with jaggery and the sweet smell of jaggery and carrot mixed together giving a cloying odour and tasted diferent. Ingredients: Grated Carrot:-2 cups. Sugar:-2 cups. Cardamom powder:-1/4 tsp. Ghee:-1tbsp Almonds and cashews:-to garnish.

Dissolve sugar in 1 cup of water and heat it. Heat it until syrup starts bubbling and add carrot and stir well. Add cardamom powder and ghee. Cook it until nice aroma comes out and halwa gets a little gluey consistency. Turn off heat and spread the halwa on a ghee-greased plate. Cut into required shapes or mould into balls.

Cut Apple into small cubes.


Boil water in a pan. Add Apple cubes and Cook for 15 minutes. Remove from heat and allow this to cool for 5 to 10 minutes. Drain the water and grind the cooked apple cubes in a blender nicely.

Heat the ground apple mix in a pan. Add Sugar and Lemon juice to it. Keep the stove in medium heat. Stir this mix frequently to avoid spilling out and burning the bottom. Stir this mix till it becomes thick(like jam). This may take 20 to 25 minutes.

Then remove from heat and let it cool completely.
