Electricity is the set of physical phenomena associated with the presence and flow of electric charge. Electricity gives a wide variety of well-known effects, such as lightning, static electricity, electromagnetic induction and the flow of electrical current. In addition, electricity permits the creation and reception of electromagnetic radiation such as radio waves. In electricity, charges produce electromagnetic fields which act on other charges.

The use of electricity gives a very convenient way to transfer energy, and because of this it has been adapted to a huge, and growing, number of uses. The invention of a practical incandescent light bulb in the 1870s led to lighting becoming one of the first publicly available applications of electrical power. Although electrification brought with it its own dangers, replacing the naked flames of gas lighting greatly reduced fire hazards within homes and factories. Public utilities were set up in many cities targeting the burgeoning market for electrical lighting.

Electrcity helps us in lots of ways, It helps us watch television, play computer games and bathe. Without electrcity a lot of things we take for granted wouldn't be here today. Imagine living inn the dark with no central heating or television or computer? How bad would that be? It would be the middle ages all over again.

What I learned of electricity is that the types of electricity are: electric charge, electric current, electric field, electric potential and electromagnets. The electricity help us in our live to many things like to can turn on a computer, to watch tv, to cook, to talk with a phone, to have light and for other many things. We can use the electricity for many activities and with the electricity the scientifics make a lot of new inventions.
