Traditional crops (example: Ginger) We help and eliminate the middle men and source and procure raw materials direct from the local farmers. The local farmers will have the opportunity to scale up and also benefit from fair price. Non-traditional crops A number of medicinal plant extracts are used in the global pharmaceutical and neutracitcals industry . Non-traditional crops like Ashwagandha, Brahmi, Coleus, Amla etc are available in the local area to be sourced and extracted from. New crops / Inter-cropping Using the local farmers to grow new-crops will create significant economic benefits . Crops such as Patchouli can be cultivated via inter-cropping with existing crops like coconuts, mangoes or cashews. This will create enormous benefits to local community.

Our team
Prof (Dr) Mukti Mishra (Director)
Is an outstanding Commonwealth Scholar, earned his Masters degree in Business Administration and Ph.D. from the Victoria University, Melbourne, Australia. He also holds Masters Degrees in Public Administration and Applied Economics from Utkal University (India). After a brilliant and hugely successful career in the corporate sector with Fortune 500 companies such as Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd (India), Kinhill Engineers Pvt. Ltd. (Australia) and BHP Billiton (Australia) for about 15 years, Prof Mishra turned his attention toward teaching. He was associated with Xavier Institute of Management, Bhubaneswar (XIMB) as Professor-Marketing and Coordinator Placement until 2005 and Xavier Labour Relations Institute (XLRI), Jamshedpur as Adjunct Professor (Mktg) until 2007. Presently, besides his extremely demanding teaching schedule in India (MDI, Gurgaon & BIMTECH, Noida) and overseas (Australia, China, Singapore, Malaysia, and Bangladesh), Prof Mukti Mishra is on a path-breaking mission as an edu-entrepreneur to generate the opportunity and scope to skill one million school dropouts/ pass outs towards enhancing their self - employment, employability and livelihoodearning capacity by 2010. He has the conviction that educational institutions must have an immediate and sustained substantial value based impact on the community/ society it functions within.

Prof D.N.Rao (Director)


Professor D.N Rao, has over 20 years of experience in the field of education and entrepreneurship promotion. He promoted varioous self help groups during his 4 years stinct with Gram Vikas. He is a British Chevening Scholar in small enterprise development. He taught at Xavier Institute of Management, Bhubaneswar and headed the Center for Development Research and Training (CENDERET) rural extension wing, CENDERET during his stint at XIMB. He has also worked on development projects funded by DFID-UK, BILANCE-Netherlands, GTZ-Germany, MISEREOR-Germany, HIVOS-Netherlands and the Canadian International development Agency. Professor Rao has been a visiting faculty at the Xavier Labour Relations Institute, Jamshedpur. He is on several institutions like Udyog Vikas and KMDS- Gajapati and. Through his extensive experience he has worked across all the core sectors of rural development and poverty alleviation.

Srinivas Vedula (Director/Managing Director)


Srinivas has more than 15 years of experience in industries like Hospitality, Telecommunications, IT out-sourcing and FMCG (fast moving consumer goods).He has worked in a number of countries and with some of the leading global brands. Srinivas is highly skilled in developing sales strategies and has particular strength in financial analysis, customer relationship management and project management. He also has experience in business analysis, sales management, trade marketing and key account management.
