Mantras

MMJ Gayatri Panchakshar 5 Hare Ram (ISKON) Om Aghor etc

Mantras

Actually mantras must be pronounced in the very same way as told by the Sanskrit pundits, otherwise mantras would not be beneficial. Although, it depends on the reasons of chanting, example mantras of 6 acts or magical powers needs to be chanted with all right pronunciation, right setup, right fire.... But mantras for kundalini activation need not be done with the same way.....Also we have 3 energy floating in the system : Rajsik, Tamsik, & Saatvik... if we want to capture the saatvik energy from cosmos then mantras may be done without accurate setups.... For your case, if you want to active kundali, get good health, get good fortune, then the setup does not matter.... But for my case if I want all magical powers then I have to do it very right way, also I have to select tamsik energy from cosmos as it if more easy and aggressive....

MMJ

Meta Physics
Metaphysics is a branch of philosophy concerned with explaining the fundamental nature of being and the world Quantum entanglement is a property of the quantum mechanical state of a system containing two or more objects, where the objects that make up the system are linked in such a way that the quantum state of any http://www.himalayanacademy.com/resources/books/dws/dws_r5_truth-compare.html member of the system cannot be adequately http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Quantum_entanglement http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Metaphysics described without full mention of the other

Conclusion

A new dimension of improvement is shown Applicability and cases are shown Optimizing fitness, nutrition and psychological states can lead to better score

Music Therapy

The Perception of Sound

Psychological and physiological effects of music. Psychoacoustics is the study of the perception of sound.
Vibrations and frequency Resonance tone Entrainment rhythm

Humans are Naturally Musical

Pitch contour vs. Pitch interval (Trainor) Evolutionary?

43,000 82,000 year old instruments (Zattore and Anon) Functions:

Social lubricant Testosterone reducer Lowering cortisol Releasing oxytocin

Effects on the Body

Intuition and experience know that music effects the body. Listen to this: Feet tapping/head nodding ?? Rhythmic entrainment is contagious

Brain resonates, breath and heart rate follow. Alter the pulse of the brain (with music!) and the rest will follow

Sonic Neurotechnologies

Filtration/gating (F/G) filtering out the lower range of music and then adding the frequencies back in. This process retrains the auditory processing system. Binaural beat frequencies (BBF) sound frequencies are altered by a certain number of Hz. This causes the brainwaves to be entrained and can be useful for pain reduction, enhanced creativity, or accelerated learning.

Developmental Effects

Chicken Embryo studies (Panicker, Wadhwa, Roy)

Music increases the size of immunostained cells in chicken embryos. This correlates to an increase in neurons important for memory and learning. The number of immunostained cells increases if the sounds are species-specific.

Relaxing Effects

Alzheimers patients increased melatonin (Eisdorfer, Kumar) Drumming increases relaxing pain chemicals (Bittman, et. al) MRT-music increases naturally therapeutic painkillers in pregnant women without drugs (Sidorenko). Burn assistance with pain and anxiety (Presner, et al).

Learning Effects

Larger Brocas area in musicians better on spatial tests (Sluming, et. al). Mozart Effect (Campbell) Increased Norepinephrine (NE) in young chicks = music alters brain chemistry

Therapeutic Applications

Treatment vs. Healing

Treatment comes from the outside Healing comes form within Treatment facilitates healing Healing is making whole, restoring a state of perfection and balance that has been lost through illness or injury (Weil).

Healing music Dr. Weils Sound body, sound mind: music for healing

Music as a Treatment

Relax cancer patients and ease suffering. Aid to the quality of life. Improve physical movement. Boost the immune functions. Music can boost productivity. Music can enhance romance and sexuality (Campbell). Music creates a sense of safety and well-being.
